The minute she got to the room Krul had prepared for her in Japan, she immediately tore off the stupid dress and shoes to be replaced with her usual nightgown. Okay, confession time. It wasn't an actual nightgown. It was a loose black tank top and thin baggy pants. However, they faded into each other, making it look like one piece of clothing.

Soon, Krul stopped by. "I see that you've made yourself at home." She said.

Annemarie nodded. "So now, tell me about this Japanese Imperial Demon Army..."

~A Few Days Later~

Three years ago, Annemarie was human. And as a human, she worked with SHIELD and the Avengers. So she knew a thing or two about strategic war planning. Fighting she didn't really like, but she was good at planning attacks.

This came in handy now, three years later when she needed to help plan battles between her kind and the humans. Although it didn't make that large of a difference, Annemarie's presence seemed to help things, if only a little. "Oh, Krul?" Annemarie asked.

"What is it?" She replied.

"I was wondering if you could bring me a spare uniform that the humans wear."

"Why?"

"Because I'm curious about how they live now. And if I go dressed like this...well, it's not accurate data." Yes, she said data. Her dad was a scientist. She lived with a doctor and two spies, what did you expect?

"I'll bring it to you soon. And I'll tell the city guards about your act so they won't blow your cover. But be careful, knowing you, you'll perfectly act the part of a human and, well, sometimes even they aren't very pleasant towards each other."

"I got Krul, thanks for worrying!" She rushed off to her room to prepare the things she'd need to look the part. Colored contacts to disguise her eyes, makeup to fake scratches and bruises, a knife to cut her hair unevenly and to chip her nails.

A few minutes later after she had done all that, in addition to teasing her hair to make thousands of knots and actually putting small amounts of dirt on to complete her camouflage, someone had brought the uniform as the last piece of her disguise. She put it on and hide her ears under her hair and went back to Krul. "Krul! Does this look convincing enough?"

Krul turned around and a look of shock was present. "Annemarie-sama!? That's you?"

"So I suppose that means yes?"

"I almost didn't recognize you! Although, now I am seeing similarities..."

"Okay, I'm going to go now! I've never actually been around only humans since Urd took me from America...I'm so excited!" She exited the palace full of glee with the biggest smile on her face until she realized that to blend in, she'd probably have to stop. From what she could tell, no one looked very happy at all, so she shouldn't either.

She wasn't really sure what to do. She wandered around aimlessly, fully aware that even though the guards knew she was in disguise, they weren't very discreet about it and constantly looked her way after they took a double-take at her appearance. Jeez, stop staring! You're going to give me away...

She was glaring at the one who just looked her way when she sensed someone, a human, about to come into contact with her. To continue her act, she decided to allow them to strike her.

She felt her body slam against the wall in the alley between two of the structures the humans in this city called home. Facing her assailant, she learned that it was two teenage boys. They appeared to be some other older ones, about fifteen or sixteen. Wait...
