So, grammar. And spelling. I suck at spelling and grammar. But, this is a very important part of stories.
Commonly misspelled words are things like:
together
already
finally
counselor
There
they're
their
your
you're
two
sew
spaghetti

My problem is autocorrect. It is a blessing, and a curse.
On my PJO after the war fanfic, one mistake that I saw after I had already published was that the word 'gods' had been changed to 'girls'.
Autocorrect also makes you mess up on typing usernames.

Next comes the delicate subject of cursing.
Depending on your reader base, you want to go one of four ways.
1) Steer clear of cussing completely. Use bell, instead of hell, and duck, instead of fuck.
2) Bleep out most of the letters, like this. f***
3) Bleep out the vowel. sh*t, f*ck,
4) Go ahead and say the words straight out.
