"Hi."
"Hey, how's the hospital light treating you?"
"Very fluorescent. What about you? How is the sunshine treating you on this fine morning?"
"Ha Ha. Very funny. I wouldn't know because I am stuck in my room trying to finish three assignments that are due tomorrow."
"Oh, really."
"Yes, really. You already know about the assignments because you already finished them and now you're trying to teach me a lesson about discipline and getting your work done first, so then you can enjoy yourself without guilt of the work hanging on your shoulders. Blah. Blah. Blah."
"Actually, I was just going to say......."
"What?"
"Ok, I was probably going to say that."
"See, I know you too well."
"Is that a bad thing?"
"Yes. What part don't you understand?"
"The part about us being so close it's scary. It's actually freaky. I'm actually shivering I'm so creeped out."
"Drama Queen much?"
"Okay, maybe I over exaggerated just a bit. But really think about it we like know everything about each other, it's creepy. But in a cool way"
"I feel like this is going to turn into a total therapy session. Just hold on one sec' let me grab my lounge chair and think about how my childhood ruined me."
"Very funny"
"Yes, I know I'm hilarious. I should be a comedian and be a billionaire, I hear it all the time *sigh* but in all seriousness we have known each other since second grade. I'd be kinda disappointed with us if we didn't know each other so well."
"I know. Isn't that crazy? We've known each other for eight years. Wow, I feel old."
"Woah *chuckles* Do you remember the first day we met?"
"Yeah, of course. I changed schools halfway during the year because we had just moved to town. I was a total klutz and nobody would talk to me, then you came up to me at recess while I was sitting alone and gave me your chocolate chip cookie. Then as I went to bite it you snatched it back and screamed 'stop'-"
"Hehe, yeah I did do that didn't I? It was a good cookie I changed my mind. But, hey it's the thought that counts right?"
"Yeah *chuckles*. You know you better go finish those assignments, while I enjoy the lovely day. Who knows maybe I'll even venture into the great outdoors, feel the sun on my skin, smell the breeze."
"Yeah, yeah, sure. You're as pale as a ghost I should call you Casper and I'm pretty sure you're a vampire because I never see you in the sun, plus you hate bugs. "
"Hey, I can't help it if my skin is naturally pale. Plus bugs are creepy with all their extra legs and eyes. It's not natural, just gives me the heebie jeebies."
"Everything gives you the heebie jeebies."
"Whatever, I'll talk to you later."
"Ok bye."
"Bye."
