WESTEROS was a land that Visenya had not set foot on in many years. She held a preference for the Stormlands, the temperamental beauty of sea, yet it was not horribly hot as Kings Landing. As she arrived she already heard of treason, and the death of Jon Arryn. Putting two and two together she assumed treason was the cause of death.
The castle was large, she supposed it was beautiful to others, but the fact that Kings Landing was a pit of power hungry snakes ruined the glamorous castle for her. Her boots collided with the stone walkway, she was finally home after five years and was ready to fight with the King.
Guards constantly watch the throne room, and here there were clad in golden armor, presumably the works of Tywin Lannister. Visenya pushed her way through the guards and shoved the doors open with a brute amount of force that the meeting was interrupted. "I daresay, I have caused quite the commotion dear brother," She held a tone, so sickly sweet, that anyone who knew what this woman was capable of would've froze.
"Impossible," was whispered amongst the crowd, before the King himself intervened.
"Leave us now!" his voice bellowed through the room, colliding with each wall then forming an echo of its own that rung in the woman's ears. Robert slowly raised himself from the throne, and moved towards her, he was unsure of what to say, after being so close to accepting her death.
Visenya spoke first," you got fat, Robert."
"You got taller, Senya," the eldest child then wrapped his arms around his baby sister and held her, not paying notice to tears betraying his eyes, by falling onto his beard.
Jaime Lannister stood by the back door, watching the exchange between siblings, yet all he noticed on the woman's face was resentment to be touched by the man who was holding her. No one truly knew why the girl had left, and Robert refused to speak of her, the last she was spoke of was when her death was announced. Had she sailed to Valyria and survived? What the lion hiding in the back wondered more than anything was why had she returned. The siblings exited the embrace, as the king spoke," I thought you had died, you sailed for Valyria!"
"Yes dear brother, but why must that mean I shall die? Although it wasn't as pleasant as I had wished, there were no pale haired men gallivanting around anymore, it was quite the disappointment you know? Such a shame you had them killed, I daresay they were rather handsome."
You could feel her bitterness in the air, although the drunk of a king assumed it as a joke, after all she was family. "Senya! Join my small council, you've traveled the world, who else better to advise the next hand of the King." Robert Baratheon, was a rather enthusiastic drunk, this was becoming more apparent the conversation carried on.
Visenya had Robert falling into her schemes against him playing out perfectly, perhaps the task wouldn't be so hard.
"Oh, brother dearest, it would truly be an honor, I wish nothing more," she truly was rather convincing, all except to the lion in the midst. "I shall rest brother, I'll have the Slayer escort me, I do believe you have brothels to attend, your majesty," and Visenya sauntered toward Jaime Lannister, after giving the King a small wink. "Come along, we have much to discuss, Kingslayer."
The Lannister hated the name he bore, but when the Baratheon woman spoke it almost sounded like she was joking with Jaime, for her brothers sake. The King was an easy man to fool, after all the Lannisters had been fooling him since his marriage began. "This castle is truly rather bland after traveling the world, Jaime." She spoke softly calling the man by his given name, once out of earshot of Robert. "Why have to requested me, my Lady?"
"I want a private meeting with your twin sister, no one is to know, and it must be before we leave for Winterfell, I do not travel by carriage, only by steed."
"Yes, my Lady."
"Jaime Lannister, my god given name is Visenya, if I was meant to have been called Lady or Grace, I would've been named that, titles truly mean little to me, Kingslayer," Visenya spoke with wink, she kissed the blonde man on the cheek where his stubble lay. "I do hope you to escort me to meet your lovely sister. Thank you Jaime Lannister" and with that she entered her room.
