Visenya had spent the remainder of the afternoon in discussion with the eunuch Lord Varys, the man rather known for, well knowing everything. The Baratheon had her own spies, she knew much of Westeros whether or not she had been in five years, she was rather just testing Lord Varys loyalty. She was not disappointed in her findings, Varys was still highly placed in the Baratheon's list of allies.
It was nearing midnight, Visenya had learnt of the lions treason to the throne, Jon Arryn himself had caught the trail of children the affair left. As much as the young woman had loved the falcon, the Lannister family and herself had a common goal, as much as she frowned upon incestual relationships, she needed to work an alliance with the Lannisters, whether or not that meant going being the Queen's back.
Jaime Lannister found himself utterly confused upon the young Baratheon woman's arrival, he had heard tales of beauty, they said she held a Valyrian face with the darkness of an Andal. It was true, she was the most beautiful woman he had seen, and she even rivaled his lover. Visenya was a suspicious woman, she ordered a private meeting with the Queen, and to be escorted by Jaime himself, Jaime pondered on the thought of her outing them to the realm, although Visenya seemed to have a hatred for the oaf that sat upon the throne. He couldn't figure out the angle that the beauty was working.
Jaime left his post at midnight, and made way towards the tower that had been Visenya's since she was a child. Her and her twin brother Renly had shared a tower, Robert had awarded each of his family members a place once he won the war, Stannis received the Dragonstone, and Renly received the Stormlands, Visenya received a tower in Kingslanding. The more thought Jaime put towards this young girl, he felt pain for her, being the only woman, and also to be locked away in a tower as your younger brother became a Lord. Yet she became known as the wanderer, she sailed to Valyria and lived, and returned to mock her King brother. Spite was a strong thing among royals as loyalty was a rare thing among anyone.
Jaime arrived at her room, knocked thrice, and announced himself rather softly.
The door swiftly moved open, and the young beauty emerged from the darkness, wearing a cloak to cover her face, she appeared like a witch to the Lannister.
They made haste to the Queens chambers, Visenya would rather not get caught in secrecy with the Queen on her first night in Kingslanding.
It was a rather silent walk, Jaime was silently wondering what this woman was doing, and Visenya was finishing her plot.
She was a cunning creature, a fox perhaps she'd fit right in as a Lannister lion, but she was born of a Stag, with loyalty to the Dragons. Many moons ago she met the 'last' dragon Viserys Targaryen, yet Jon Snow resided in Winterfell claiming to be a Stark. Visenya wasn't sure what displeased her more, whether it was that Daenerys was more sane than the man who had claim to the throne or that Arthur Dayne died for a dragon to become a wolf.
Shortly afterwards they arrived at Cersei's chambers. Jaime quietly opened the door, Cersei was awaiting them sitting quietly, watching, calculating Visenya's every move. A wind of change was sweeping upon the land, and the Queen was fearful that the Baratheon would take her throne, her life away from her.
Visenya sauntered towards the small table where the Queen sat. "In all of my years, I have never witnessed Baratheon children look like Lannisters, it really is quite the phenomena." Visenya spoke as she began to sit.
Cersei was dumbfounded, she covered her fear,"I have already removed the last threat to my family, I will not hesitate—"
"I am not your enemy, Cersei Lannister. Quite the contrary, we have a common goal, the death of a man who has caused so many, ourselves included, a unfathomable amount of pain. I will protect your family, as long as you do not get in my way, of infiltrating Roberts council?"
Cersei Lannister, usually found herself handing out the deals, running the game she was playing, yet even being many years senior to this woman, she was the one making all the moves. The Queen was the calculating, manipulative one running the show, yet it seemed the tables had turned within the hours after Visenya's arrival.
"I would like to consider your train of thought, an agreement, I look forward to doing business with you, your majesty." Visenya then bowed her head and stood to leave the Queen's chambers, before she was interrupted by the Kingslayer.
"You shall speak of this to no one?"
You could see worry in his eyes, Visenya pondered upon how this man could face death in battle relentlessly, yet fear her, it was true that Visenya basically was holding on to the most valuable information in Westeros within the day of her arrival, she had a firm grip on the Lannister's money, title, and appearance, perhaps even his balls.
"I did not sail away from Valyria, without cause Kingslayer, Queen, and above all you two were not that cause, do not think so highly of yourself, you are not on my list, little doves."
