"Everything happens for a reason. But sometimes the reason is that you're stupid and you make really bad decisions that you shouldn't be making."
~Unknown~Harley's POV
I watched as Ruby set up her silver camera. She was over the moon. I hadn't seen her this excited since she hooked up with Ethan Harrison, the captain of our schools football team.
"You ready to make an intro for our first video?" Ruby asked. I looked up from the book in my hand to see a smile on her face.
"As ready as I'll ever be." She rolled her eyes at me and snatched the book out of my hand. I flopped back down onto her bed and put my hands behind my head.
"I have an idea for our first video." Ruby said with a smile. "I say we go fuck with the Milkovich's." She exclaimed. I sat up from her bed, suddenly intrigued.
"You want to fuck with the Milkovich's? You know they're not afraid to hit girls right?" I asked.
"Oh please, if they try to kill us we flash them and run." She said, waving me off.
"It's not a good idea." I told her, shaking my head as I did so.
"It's not a good idea because you're scared of them or because you don't want to see Bentley?" I rolled my eyes as her accusation.
"Okay, first of all I'm not scared of anything--"
"You were scared to talk to Xavier for like five years!" She exclaimed, cutting me off.
"I wasn't scared. I was just... taking my time." Ruby laughed and rolled her eyes at me. "Whatever, messing with them just isn't smart, not if you want to make it to your sixteenth birthday."
"We'll bring Xavier to protect us!" She said with a smile.
"No offense but I have a feeling it would be us protecting Xavier."
"He's on the football team! He can take Mickey Milkovich." Ruby said with a laugh. I was annoyed by the fact that she refused to listen to a word I'd say. The Milkovich clan were not to be trifled with.
"Mickey Milkovich has a closet full of guns." I said in an annoyed tone. "He wouldn't hesitate to shoot or break every bone in Xavier's body."
"Fine, just us then. You know Bentley would never let anything happen to you." She told me as she walked into her closet. I watched as the blonde girl searched for something to wear on camera. She had a walk in closet, and more clothes than anyone could ever need. She probably had a shirt for every day of the year.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that." I mumbled.
"Please he's been in love with you since he was like eight." She called from her closet. I shook my head at the girl despite the fact that she couldn't see me.
