Chapter 8: The human world

Kumatetsu starts training Hannah how to control her strength, Hannah can hold a sword but the problem he noticed was she couldn't hit him as he blocks back, the more frustrated she become the more strength she applied, eventually leading to her breaking the sword. They take little steps, first he gets her all angry and sees if she can hold something in her hand without breaking it, they go up, they start with harder things like wood and metal, and she has to focus on adding the power to her swings instead of her hands so that the sword doesn't break. As for kumatetsu training, she has him tied up so he has to dodge, while she is attacking with him with a wooden sword, of course he can't do it good because he gets frustrated and loses focus,

"Watch my movement teddy, if you watch close enough you can guess my next move and counter attack" hannah says while lightly striking him, but lightly for her still hurts as she only has a little control, kumatetsu does try dodging but Hannah is easily following him,

"My breath, my muscles, my stance, if you watch close enough and find a rhythm and pattern to my movement you can easily overcome your opponent" snowball chirps on her shoulder, agreeing with her, kumatetsu stops moving for a bit to calm down,

"Let's keep going" Hannah smirks at him.

While out Hannah makes friends with lozen son's the younger one saying she's strong, Hannah hates not having anything to do on her free time and agrees to come over to his house where they trade training stories.

After bickering for a hour Hannah takes a egg and focuses, if she can clutch her hand without breaking it she'll have control over her strength, meanwhile kumatetsu is eating watermelon when he jumps at Hannah's excited scream, she turns and jumps into his arms showing him the egg, it has cracks in it but Hannah feels so excited,

"Look teddy, I'm so close, once I can leave this egged unharmed we can really start training" Hannah says grinning at him, he smirks at her as once again tries again, and while her back is turned his smirk turns into a soft smile, not noticing his two beast friends watching him.

2 years later

"I can't believe it, you've gotten so much taller" Bo-bo says seeing Hannah his height,

"Thank you bo-bo" Hannah says blushing while she smiles sheepishly, that's when Tatara goes up too her in a panic, Hannah smirks as he complains how she's so much taller than him.
With Hannah having control of her strength she and kumatetsu start training in swordsmanship, and fighting styles so she's not just throwing punches and kicks hoping they will land.

6 years later

It doesn't matter what the weather is they will train, both not caring about the world around them, the training has bonded the two together and Hannah sees him as more of a teacher now, and from how he's so much kinder and caring around her she knows he does too, especially when it comes to boys, as she's become a beautiful young women that gets the boy's attention. They have both grown together, becoming more refine and powerful, and Hannah knows this is where she belongs, with kumatetsu and all her beast friends. But that's not the only things that have changed, it seems everyone wants to become kumatetsu's apprentice, hannah could care less, same with kumatetsu, which makes others sweatdrop at how they are so much alike.

Our heroine is currently out shopping, the house has once again run out of food so she goes out, however boys once again try getting her attention, and kumatetsu sees this while out working odd jobs, which makes him finally snap.

"Why are you chasing me!" She had to leave the food with ju-ju as she calls lozen's youngest son that, she had passed him and his brother and left the food to continue running from him, because she's going to get the "talk"

"We need to have a grown up talk that has been held off to Long!" Kumatetsu shouts chasing her, they did this a lot when she was younger but as she got older they stopped this silly chasing around, but it'll come back every once and a while.

"Maybe I would talk if you weren't chasing me like I'm god!" Hannah says giving quick apologies to by standards that kumatetsu knocks at of the way, it's almost like he's heading to war.

She loses him eventually In a alleyway, giving respect to snowball who is still on her shoulder, snowball chirps at her, telling her to look around, and when she does her eyes widen, the alley she's in..it was the very same one that got her to the beast world. Hannah gulps and looks ahead at the light, as she gets closer music and people chattering reaches her ears, until she comes out returning to the human world.

Something in her tells her to just turn back, but another is telling her to stay and explore, and she knows just the place, her favourite place as a kid, the library.
However taking books and siting at the table reading reveals a simple fact,

'I've been gone so long I've slightly forgotten how to read' Hannah thinks. she swears, stuttering over her words, a chuckle makes her freeze and she looks at stiffly, however her faces heat up as she gazes at a man around her age looking at her amused, he has short brown hair and stunning blue eyes that seem to look into her soul, and his build, it makes her blush as it seems to be easy to see under that tight button up shirt,

"I couldn't help but notice you were having trouble, so I came to offer assistance" he says offering his hand, and shakes it trying to contain her blush,

"M-my name is Hannah" she doesn't give her full name as anyone would recognize it in the human world. He smirks at her gesturing to the book,

"If you want, I could teach you" Hannah looks at her piles of books, her pride holding her back from accepting, not only that but she would have to lie about her whole life,

"Sure i would like that." Hannah says with a bright smile, now Hannah will become part of both worlds and soon she must decide, which will she stay in.

Hannah travels back and forth between the worlds, she relearns everything about the human world with Danny, keeping her travels a secret from kumatetsu. Danny tells her to study without her on her free time, but with her day to day activity she rarely has time for her self and has to read at night, when kumatetsu is sleeping.
Eventually Hannah gets a routine going with the help of her neighbor ace, when she wants to head out early she gets ace to cover her, she met the woman wolf beast when she was younger and become a good friend to rely on. She learned that Danny is deaf, having been like that all his life he learned to adapt, to read lips and enhanced his other senses, she admires him, he didn't let his disability get him down and become strong, He's got her thinking about the question of what true strength is. Danny is actually a young college teacher, she is as wrong about him being her age as She feels wrong about being attracted to him, but she doesn't really have to worry about school, however he has offered to allow her into his classes, but doing this would require a place to live, and there's only one place.

Hannah walks down a path leading to a mansion, at least that's what she thought, now it looks more like a dojo hidden among the tall buildings, Hannah looks surprised at the change,

'It looks..and feels dead' Hannah thinks looking around,

"But it is far from dead my dear" Hannah stops at the old voice behind her, tears gather in her eyes as she turns around smiling at the one person she trusted as a child after her mother had died,

"It's good to see you..grandma"
