Aphmau

One cut.

And another.

And another.

I've cut myself multiple times already, my shoulder to my knuckles are cut.

I take the knife, playing with it with my fragile fingers, making it feel like I was playing with a toy train.

Fun, right?

"Rat!"

"My name is Aphmau!"

"Shut up, Rat. I'm going to do some stuff for the weekend, enjoy staying locked up in your room - oh wait, I don't care."

My door clicks from the outside, a glare coming from my eyes towards the lock of my door.

I hear a slam before a few shatters of glass, making me sigh.

"It's Aphmau." I state.

I get up from the floor, walking over to my bedside. I place my knife on the table, blood drizzling down my arm.

I sigh, grabbing an old wrap from my bedside. I roll the wrap around both my arms, turning swiftly to a mirror.

There I show, with bandaged arms, an oversized white, blood covered tank, and my hair brushed to the sides of my head.

"I wish I lived a different life..."

I sigh, walking over to my closet. I push it open, getting an oversized black hoodie and some ripped skinny jeans.

"He really should know I'm not that dumb." I roll my eyes.

I slip off my tank, throwing it to my pile of dirty clothes in the closet.

I walk to my dresser and pull out a black brassiere, slipping it on over my head.

I change into my clothes I pulled out, slipping them on like they're nothing.

I go over to my knife, slipping it into the back pocket of my jeans.

I grab my wallet and phone, putting it into the other pocket opposite of my knife, which will be hidden until I'm alone.

I walk to my window, unlocking it and opening it. I take the screen out of its place and jump out of the window, closing it and putting the screen back into its rightful place.

Rain drips gently down onto the Earth, hitting me every second.

I pull up my hood and begin walking to the sidewalk, I'm in my bushes right now, of course I'm going to the sidewalk.

I begin walking to iHop, looking down. I pull out my phone and headphones, that were already connected to my phone before, and begin playing music.

"...Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh

When I was just a little girl
Barely strong enough to stand
I could always count on her
Oh

She taught me everything I know
And 'till this day it shows
She was more than just a friend
Ah ah ah

There were so many times I would doubt myself
But her words were always there to help

I wouldn't be
Where I am
If my mother didn't tell me
To never say I can't

She'd carry me
And never let me fall
Oh and the only thing she asked
Right before she passed
Was to never say you can't

Oh
Never say you can't
Oh oh oh Oh

So when last rain begins to fall
And you're out there on your own
And you can't see a thing
No no no

Just find a voice that understands
For me it was my woman
Taught me to say the words I can
Oh

There were so many times I would doubt myself
But her words were always there to help

I wouldn't be
Where I am
If my mother didn't tell me
To never say I can't

She'd carry me
And never let me fall
Oh and the only thing she asked
Right before she passed
Was to never say you can't

Everything she taught me would stay with me forever
No I won't forget a thing
Oh because of mom I now know my life better
And I hope I can do for her what she did for me

I wouldn't be
Where I am
If my mother didn't tell me
To never say I can't

She'd carry me
And never let me fall
Oh and the only thing she asked
Right before she passed
Was to never say you can't

Oh
Never say you can't
Oh
Never say you can't..."

Tears stream down my cheeks to my jaw line, my eyes shut in emotional and physical pain.

"What did I do to deserve this?"

Say your last words.

You know you want to die.

Say goodbye.

You just need to die.

I open my eyes, gritting my teeth together.

iHop sits before me, and I walk in, anger and sadness twisted in my looks.

"Hello! How many do we have today?" I look up to a very kind looking waitress, pink hair pulled up into pigtails and cat ears and a tail.

"Just me." I reply.

"Alright! Katelyn~Sama will lead you to your table, Miss!"

She motions me to a blue haired girl, a small smile on her face.

"Follow me, Ma'am."

"Okay..."
