"Come on, babe." He whispered in my ear, causing a shiver to run down my spine. He still had the same effect over me, and he could tell. "Did you really think I wouldn't find you? In my city of all places? You should've known, shawty."

"What do you want, Trey?" I harshly whispered. I had been running for so long just to get away from him, and unbeknownst to me, landed straight in his city. NOLA a.k.a New Orleans. For three years I've been able to hide from him. It was stupid of me to think he and Matt would actually stop searching.

With everything that happened to us and everything he did, most would expect me to leave and never come back, and that's what I tried to do. But, I had to come back. I missed my family and my son needed to be taken care of, I couldn't do it by myself anymore and neither could Michelle. We both had young ones that just couldn't live off of the support of two single, 21 year old, moms, so coming back made sense. Did I actually take Trey and Matt into consideration when we came back? No, I didn't. Well, that's a lie. We just assumed that they had moved on from the two of us and decided to stop looking, and that's where we made a mistake. When you assume, you make an ass out of yourself and that's exactly what we did.
