I walked straight to my first block after the encounter I had with Trey. I swear when this year ends, we end. I'm tired, physically and mentally, of dealing with his bull because it's unfair to me.

The first class I had was P.E, so I could basically just sit around and do nothing: I'm not the sporty type. I went into the girls locker room and changed into shorts and a t-shirt and walked out to find Michelle waiting for me next to the door.

"Sooo, what did you and Trey talk about? It looked pretty lovey dovey to me." She laughed, unaware of the mood I was in.

"I told him to leave me alone and that he wasn't my daddy. I'm tired of the way he's been treating me." I said, with an attitude.

"Come on Anika. You know how he gets about what you wear and how you act. You could've been nicer to him this morning."

"Nice? Why in the hell would I act nice to someone who cheats on me?!" I harshly whispered at her, as we finally made it outside to the field. We sat down on the grass and watched the guys play football.

"How do you even know he's cheating?! Have you seen it for yourself? No, you haven't. You can't be listening to these jealous ass hoes that's been trying to get with him since he popped out his mama coochie!" She exclaimed, but I knew the truth.

I took out my phone and handed it to her. "Look through my pictures." Was all I had to say.

I knew for a fact he was cheating and I had proof, I wasn't some crazy girlfriend trying to find something wrong with her man. Ever watched Kevin Hart's 'Let Me Explain'? Ya, I'm not that kind of girl.

The moment she started scrolling through my pictures, her face dropped. I'm 100% positive she saw the screenshots I sent myself from his phone. The passcode he did have on his phone was easy as hell to figure out because it was his birthday, so when I went in it, you can just imagine my surprise when I saw texts from many females talking about how they 'had a good time' and 'couldn't wait to do it again'. My personal favorites were the descriptive ones about what they would do to each other.

Michelle was speechless as she held my phone. "What are you gonna do?"

"I'm breaking it off today. After the talk we had, it's time to let it go. Plus, I've had my eyes on someone else since before school let out last year." I smiled, just thinking about this guy gave me goose-bumps.

"Who??"

"Zack Richardson..." I trailed off, in la-la land.

"Oh, you mean the Zack Richardson coming over here? Get soommme!" She shouted, making heads turn our way. I swear this girl knows how to embarrass someone easily. Right as I was about to respond, Zack had reached us and was standing right in front of me.

"Hey ladies, how are ya?" He asked with that southern accent of his. Damn, this boy is gorgeous. Tan skin, straight, white teeth, and hair that I can just picture myself running my hands through. White boy got a body, too. I mean, it was only so much that a skin tight shirt can hide, and baby, it was not hiding the muscles that were bulging out.

"Hey Zack, what's up?" Michelle spoke before I could even get a word out.

"Nothing much, I just came over to ask if y'all would come to my party on Saturday. It's sort of like a back to school thing. I'm not having anything big, just about 100 people. I wanted to personally invite you."

"I'll be there, don't worry! Everybody and they mama know you throw the hypest parties." She said, flipping her hair.

He nodded his had and turned to me. "What about you, Anika? I would love it if you came, girl."
