Chapter 27

After I woke up I decided to call Hadley and ask for advice. Before  it even rung she answered.
Phone Conversation :
Hadley: Hello?
She sounded frantic and she was whispering.
Lauren: Hadley what's wrong?
Hadley: Nothing why do u say that?
Lauren: Your voice  keep cracking
Hadley: Oh sorry,I didn't mean to
Lauren:It's fine what's wrong
Hadley:Noth...
Before she could finish I heard a deep voice yell,"Hadley,Where the hell are u?!"
Lauren: Hadley what's going on?
Hadley: Nothing
That's when I heard a door open and I hear Hadley yell in pain while I heard the deep voice yell in anger,"Don't u ever hide from me?!"
I'm assuming she dropped her phone cause I heard loud noises and her voice cracking as if she was crying but it was as if it was happening in far away from the phone but loud enough so I could hear.I heard her scream
"Please STOP!!"
Lauren : Hadley!!
I screamed her name again but she never came back to the phone. Jessica must've heard me yelling Hadley name cause she ran in my room. "What's wrong?"
I looked down at my phone and said,"something's wrong with Hadley." "Isn't she at home with her parents?" "Parent...Her mom died when she was 5" "Lauren how do u know that?" "I don't know..I just do" "That's good I think" "Jessica we have to get to Hadley Fast!!" "I'm gonna go get Victoria to take us to her" Then after saying that Jessica left and I heard her run downstairs. I hurried up and threw on a jacket and my sneakers and ran downstairs. (Lauren's outfit^^)
"Come on girls let's go",Victoria said as she grab her keys. We all hopped in her car and was driving to Hadley's. "Lauren how do u know she's in trouble",Victoria asked. I just looked out the window and said,"I just have this feeling." "What kind of feeling",Jessica chimed in and asked. "A feeling that what's gonna happen is my fault." Jessica turned her head around in her seat and said,"What's gonna happen and how is it your fault?" I never looked at her but instead I kept looking at my phone and the window. All I could think about is Hadley and how far things have gotten or at least was going to. As the drive was coming to an stop, her dad was the first thing that popped in my mind. "Her father" "What about her father?",was all I heard Jessica's voice say as I ran out of the car. I heard Jessica and Victoria's running behind me. I knocked on their door twice but there was no answer. I rung their doorbell but once again no response. So I decided to twist the door nob and to our surprise it was unlocked. We searched around the house and checked in each room until I walked in Hadley's room. There it was the worst thing that I could've imagine. The thing that I knew was gonna happen because of me.
