MY SECOND STORY TRYING SOMETHING DIFFERENT HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE IT THANKS:)

Looking in the mirror getting ready for the first day of college was crazy can't believe somebody like me was going to college. I work hard to get were I'm at today. I been through a lot over my 20 years of living I done seen it all but I didn't give up. People might say that I try to be something that I'm not that's not true. I'm just Kelis from the hood just trying to make a better life for my little brother and sister.

Many people say that I act white or think that I am just because you come from the hood doesn't mean you have to act it. I'm far from hood but I can get hood on the ass if you make me. While finish getting ready I had to get my little brother and sister up for school. Don't ask me where my momma at cause I have no clue she don't be home at all. She's only good for her name being on the least and we getting food stamp that's about it nothing else.

After getting them up and ready, I walk them to the bus stop so then I had to walk to the bus stop to catch my bus to go to school downtown. I hated catching the bus because its the only bus that comes to the poject and it comes every two hours.While walking pass the basketball court were it was whole alot of dudes just standing there. Half of the dudes that was on the court dont even live here they just make their sells over here.

"Kelis where you going" Drew yelled

"School why" I yelled back

I swear I fucking can't stand his tall ass. He always try to talk to me but I don't pay these niggas no mind so I kept walking.

When I finially got off my second bus my best friend Lauren was sitting in her car waiting on me. I hate telling people where I live so I dont let nobody come and get me.

When I got in the car I smiled and said, " Hey boo"

"Hey hun", she smiled and said back

We did our handshake and flip hair.

" So have you talk your boo" She smiled and said while driving

I laugh and said" Yeah, he text me good morning and that he see me in class"

"Yall are so cute" Lauren said

When we got to campus I swear it was sold out you would have thought a celebrity was on campus but no that's just how it be. Even when I came to visit it was this crazy but I love this college it wasn't to far from home.

While walking around we seen hella cute dudes from light skin to dark skin. I felt like I was in a candy store and didn't know what flavor to pick. But see I'm not worry about none of them cause I got my own lil boo on campus but shit I can still look. Lauren and I was walking into the student lounge to get breakfast when I felt somebody grab my waist and kiss my neck. I already knew who it was cause he always does that if he see me in place.

I turn around and said" Hey babe"

He smiled and said," What's up shorty"

I couldn't help but smile looking in his dark brown eyes he's so sexy plus he dress fly. Me and Antonio been messing around for a year now and I just love me some him. We not boyfriend and girlfriend we just mess around from time to time and always texting.

Classes were boring as hell since it was our first day we went over class rules and grading boring shit. After class had to go to work I'm an assistant cheerleading coach and I always work in the mall.

Yall probably thinking she must be skinny but nope far from it I'm a big girl I just don't have a stomach for real. People always " Your pretty for a big girl" I don't even say thanks anymore I nod my head and keep it moving like what the fuck is that suppose to mean like "You pretty to be skinny".

While at work her boo came to bring her lunch. He's such a sweetheart I just love it. I gave him a kiss and we sit and talk outside the gym . I only get a thirty minute break and it goes by fast. We was laughing and talking like we always do when he around in each other. I swear you would have thought we was dating but nope we haven't took it that far. I don't think he ready for me I have a lot if secrets that I keep from him and not ready to tell him. Which he understands

" Well my break is up, I'll call you when I get home" I said while giving him a hug

He kissed my forehead and said," Ok"

This dude is somebody I can really see myself with. He doesn't judge me for my weight even though I'm confident. He tells me I'm beautiful on my worst days. This is somebody I need in my life not none of them niggas where I live at.
