Maya's POV:
Mr.Matthews writes on the board. He wrote DISORDERS just like that. Ugh. Seriously?! "Let's talk about disorders. There a bunch of different types. Farkle name one." Matthews says. "Autism." Farkle plainly states. "Lucas?" Corey asks. "Dyslexia." Lucas says. "Yogi?" Matthews asks. "Depression." Yogi answers. "Riley?" Matthews asks.
"Eating disorders or to be specific Bulimia Nervosa." she states. I can't believe she just said that. "Disorders are a real horrible thing." Matthews says. I get up and leave the classroom. I bawl my eyes out. I told myself I wouldn't do it here, but I can't hold it in anymore.
"Maya!" Riley, Lucas, and Farkle scream. They walk over to me. "Maya, I'm so sorry. I didn't know you would react like this." Riley says. "It's ok." I reply. "Are you ok?" Lucas asks. "Yeah, but there's a place I really want to go." I sigh. Riley runs back into class and comes back a few minutes later and says, "Let's go!"
We all walk out together. We talk on the way there. I love my friends. We get to the place. They walk around in awe. "What is this place?" Farkle asks. "The park I use to come to all the time." I reply. "Hart." a voice says. I recognize that voice. "Carla. Ranée." I say. Carla and Ranée step out.
"Who are these people?" Carla asks while motioning towards Riley, Lucas, and Farkle. "They're my best friends and boyfriend." I reply. "Hey cutie." Carla says while coming up to Lucas. "That one is my boyfriend and the other one is taken too." I explain.
"So Hart, wanna do some damage?" Ranée asks. Riley, Lucas, and Farkle gasp. I roll my eyes and say, "Come on guys. Let's go." We walk towards the exit, but get stopped by Carla and Ranée. "Where do you think you're going?" Carla asks. "Close your eyes." I say to Riley, Farkle, and Lucas. They close their eyes.
I beat up Carla and Ranée. "You can open your eyes now." I say. They open their eyes and gasp. "Did you?" Farkle asks. I nod my head. We all run back to school. We made it back for lunch. My fist aches, but it was worth it. We sit down and everyone eats, but me.
"Please eat." Riley says and touches my hand. The hurt hand. "Ow!" I scream. They look at my fist. "Maya?" Farkle wonders. "Yeah." I say. Corey walks in. He sees I'm not eating. He brings over a lunch. "Now eat." he demands. "Fine." I sigh. I eat a lot of it. It feels good to eat. Maybe I'm not fat after all.
