People are drawn together in the strangest ways but sometimes we have to look deeper into what is below the surface because things are not always what they seem. When a girl goes missing unexpectedly, it is the determination of those closest to her...
"I'm going to put this photograph of us on the kitchen table. Maybe somehow she will know that we are trying to find her." Georgia blinked away a tear and turned her attention back to the coffee pot.

"Are you sure about this Georgia, we could just come up with nothing." Avery rose to help Mrs Barton, "I've been writing notes for quite some time and I'm still no further ahead."
"Look, I can't do anything physically in the search for Cassie and honestly I wouldn't know where to start. The Police told me they will ring everyone. Right now I don't have the strength to ring anybody else.
I think the Police have pretty much-called everyone on the list I gave them and are taking statements. I rang the people closest to us and there's nothing more I can do," Georgia shrugged her shoulders and let them fall in time with her tired sigh.

"I know dear, thank you for that, bless you. Look, I can't go to the Police now and just say your mum said, High Ridge, they would just think I'm a crazy person."
"Yes, I understand, mum said several times about going to the Police, she felt it meant something, and I stopped her for the same reasons," Avery pushed a loose strand of hair back behind her ear.
"And you were right Avery, but if we do some investigation here, maybe we can uncover something or get some answers. I don't know, but I tell you this, it sure beats doing nothing," said Georgia as she rubbed her hand across her brow, "And I will never give up looking for her."
"I know," said Avery, clasping Georgia's hand with warm grasp and then letting go, "but we will find her," hoping with every breath she had that they would.
"Avery," said Georgia
"Yes," responded Avery as she finished making the coffee and lay the coffee cups on the table.

Georgia pulled the drink to her and clasped her fingers round it, enjoying the warmth, continuing to hold it as she sipped a little then looked at Avery straight in the eyes.
"What else has your mum been saying when she has these attacks?"
