Great thoughts speak only to the thoughtful mind,
but great actions speak to all mankind.

He stared at me for a moment, deciding whether I was worth his time.
His eyes showed a flicker of interest as they raked down my body,
leaving me feeling very naked.
"You know," he said, moving closer to me, "it's not nice to destroy others belongings."
I stared at him, not daring to say anything.
He smiled up at me.
"Can you pay for it?" he asked, curiously.
I shook my head slowly. He grinned.
"I guess you're in my debt then."
His eyes were teasing, but his tone indicated that he was very serious.
Oh God, what have I gotten myself into.

I tiptoed into the house, praying that she wasn't here today.
Every time she was there, she hurt me horribly. It was more of an emotional pain than a physical one, really. It's just the fact that someone so loving could be that way. It really hurt when I saw my friends with their family having a normal relationship. Don't get me wrong, I was happy for them. I just wished my life was a little like that.
"Going somewhere?" The voice sent chills through my body. I involuntarily started shaking.
"I'm sorry, of course not." I said with fake calmness. She grinned.
"Good. But you still have to be taught a lesson." She smirked. I swallowed a lump and nodded. I followed her upstairs into the bathroom. She took a razor from the cabinets and urged me to take off the sleeve of my shirt with her eyes. I slowly peeled off the sleeve.
She placed the razor on my wrist and I let out a whimper. She smiled at this, as if my pain was giving her pleasure. I glanced at her and the expression on her face had changed. She took the razor off, letting my blood flow. For a moment I thought she was going to leave.
Instead she opened the cabinet, her fingers hovering, trying to find something. Her smile slid into place as she grabbed the hand sanitizer. My eyes slowly widened as I realized what she was going to do.
She placed the hand sanitizer on the counter of the sink and I tried pleading with her with my eyes. She ignored me and continued to pour a healthy amount onto her hand. My blood continued to seep into the sink and I made no effort to stop it. With one final chuckle, she slapped the hand sanitizer onto my cut. I jumped and tears spilled through my eyes. She took me into her arms, holding me lovingly.
