-Jack-
The way Cindy handled that last situation made me extremely happy. This whole time I've been so worried that she isn't able to take care of herself. I guess I underestimated her.
After what seems like forever, we finally come across a staircase. It leads into a small closet. We all cram in and then open the door.
We're standing in the hallway of a large tw-story house. The TV is on downstairs and we can hear voices
"A house? The staircase led to a house?" Cindy laughs but I freeze. This house...those voices...
"We're back in D.C." I groan.
"What?" Cindy turns around quickly and j flinch.
"We're back in D.C. This is my house." I say bitterly.
"How is that even possible?" Blake asks angrily.
"Magic." Cindy whispers. We cram back in the closet when we hear footsteps coming up the stairs. The staircase is gone now and we breath quietly. I pray with everything I have that my parents don't find us. But of course my luck is never good. The footsteps stop in front of the closet door and Cindy whimpers. And then the door flies open.
