Reach Out
Listen
Can you hear the baby cry
He's not sad
No
He's dying
And we're not even trying
To help him
Sure
We say, "How can this be?"
Shake our heads
Say
"What can I do?"
But our words are lost
In the cries
As another baby dies
Watch
Don't turn your heads away
Once again
No
Please pray
And take the time to stay
To help them
No
We say, "It's too late."
Turn and run
Away
Hide from the truth
Close our eyes to the suffering
And pain
While tears fall like rain
Shout
Make sure everyone hears
We're so mad
Tired
Of the tears
And we're going to reach out
And help them
Before it's too late
