Every Rose
Everything about you seemed so perfect
I never stopped to second-guess myself
Like I always should
but I never do
even though I know so well
That I never see the whole picture
You were beautiful
flawless
but as the petals fell off
one by one
and hit the ground silently
I saw something I wish I didn't have to see
But I did...
I guess every rose does have its thorns...
