When You Said
When you said "I love you,"
I believed you.
When you said, "I'll always be there for you,"
I believed you.
When you said, "I'll catch you when you fall,"
I believed you.
But now,
I've hit the ground,
and my breath's nowhere to be found,
and instead
of what you said,
you hated me
you abandoned me
you let me fall
and when it's all
said and done,
you're the one
that could've saved me
instead, you blamed me
but what hurts the most,
more than anything else,
When you said "I love you,"
I believed you.
