Breakable

Breakable

strong as steel

soft as clay

strength so real

just fades away

a tiny virus

can obliterate

a person's life

and even creating a

vaccine

just makes it stronger

draws out the pain

for even longer

strong one way

shatters another

everybody's looking

for some other

fix

to break the cycle

but reality is

we're all so fragile

the tiniest thing can make or break us

sometimes it's not the big thing that busts us apart

and tears our heart

and even when we feel invincible

in the blink of an eye

we can change our lives

we're all just way too breakable
