Poppy's P.O.V

I woke up in my bed with the sound of my extra early alarm. Harvey told me the train we were getting arrived into Reading at around 6:38 so I had an hour to get ready and I couldn't wake up Mum.

After I did my routine of breakfast, clothes and hair, I threw my shoes on and made my way to the park.

Since the days are long, the sun was already up and it wasn't very dark outside. I saw Harvey waiting outside the park.

"Hey." I said to him. He turned around. "Hey, we have twenty minutes before the train leaves." He replied. The train station was a good fifteen minute walk away. The walk to the station was silent. I was deep in thought. What if we don't find her?

When we arrived at the train station it was pretty quiet. The only other people were in the waiting room carrying massive suitcases they could probably fit in if they tried.

The train screeched, signalling its arrival. It looked quiet from the outside. As we got on board, I quickly checked for the ticket man as we didnt have any tickets- we decided we would try and get away without tickets if we could.

There were only a few people dotted about on the carriage so we easily found seats. As the train rumbled out of the station, the ticket man started to walk down the carriage.

"All tickets and passes from Reading, please" The ticket mans voice made me freeze. A few moments later, Harvey chucked me a newspaper and we both hid behind it until he walked past. As he made his way to the next carriage, both of us sighed relief.

As the train rolled into Taunton, Me, Harvey and a few other people bustled down the carriage to the doors. This was a stupid idea, but there was no turning back now. We were already two hundred miles away from home.

The station was just as quiet as Reading, with only a few other people aimlessly wandering around, waiting for their trains to come. As it was so early in the morning, there were no train guards at the exit ready to inspect the tickets, luckily. The streets of Taunton were fairly busy with everyone on their way to work. With Harvey close by my side, we wandered around, searching for the location it said on my phone. When we finally came up to a worn down multi storey car park, my phone bleeped, signalling that we were at the location.

"This is it." I said, reluctantly walking over to the entrance. The building looked like it could fall down any minute, hence no cars were there. We both ventured around the empty floors until we came to the top floor. There was a sleeping bag and a small mat across the vast space. Harvey and I rushed to get a closer look. As we got closer, I saw a small picture with burnt edges slightly tucked under the sleeping bag. I picked it up and and turned it over to inspect it. When I saw the photo on the other side, I froze. It was a photo of Livi and I on our third birthday. I let out a small gasp.

"What is it?" Harvey asked curiously.

"Look." I said and handed over the photo. "It's me and Livi." His eyes widened slightly. Then suddenly we heard a voice coming from behind. Then footsteps.

"Excuse me, but that is my property." We turned around to see someone who looked exactly like me.

Hey guys! Sorry this is such a short chapter, I did this on my phone. Also, sorry I haven't been updating recently, I was in Devon for some sort of conference thing. I recommend Devon for a holiday, got some really nice stuff.
