My heart skipped a beat when I heard her hoarse voice. This was it. This was the moment I see my twin for the first time in years. My hands shaking, I put the photo down and slowly stood up. I took a deep breath in and turned around. As fir Harvey, he stepped back a little to give us space.
I slowly looked up to see her icy stare focused on me. After a few seconds of painfully uncomfortable silence, her eyes softened.
"Poppy?" She asked me, her eyes searching my face.
"Livi?" I replied, my hands shaking by my side.
"Is it really you?" She walked towards me, her messy hair blowing in her face.
"Y-Y-Yes." I stuttered. A few seconds layer and we were both running into each others arms. I felt the warmth of her company rush through my blood.
"I cant believe we found you." I sobbed into her shoulder, hugging her tighter than before. She was as thin as a stick, so my arms could easily go right around her.
"Why did you run away?" I say into her shoulder.
"Because I couldn't cope with life, remember those bullies? They broke me inside." She told me. I didnt say anything, I just nodded. I was so glad I finally found her.
