Your eyes had been fixed on the small window since you had sat down. It was a rather comfortable car with a lot of space in the back. But since he had decided to squeeze himself right next to you, you were squished between the window and him. He had told the driver something in another tongue you couldn't understand but most likely identified as mandarin. The car began moving. It was already too dark outside for you - a person with very bad sense of direction - to track what kind of way you were going. You were occupied anyway. Your head was working at full blast to comprehend what just happened at the gala.

It was a normal evening. A normal place. Normal people. Or not? Why else should there be a shooting? Oh my god, You gasped and your hand flew to your mouth.

"Do you think someone got hurt?", it slipped so fast over that your lips that you couldn't stop yourself early enough. For a second you had forgotten who sat next to you. Your eyes widen even more and eyed him nervously.

"Maybe", he answered to your surprise.

You couldn't prevent that your thoughts shot straight to Jongdae. What is when he got shot? I hadn't seen him leaving. I would have seen him! You felt a lump in your throat and your chest tighten.

"Don't worry about your little friend. He isn't hurt. Trust me when I tell you he is smart enough to get out of there", he reassured you. It was like he had read your mind.

You wanted to believe him and you actually felt the lump shrinking a bit.

"We are not that easy to kill", he mumbled more to himself then to you. That was enough to leave you totally confused. You had forgotten about the gun. About his intimidating manner. You needed some clarification.

"Are you and Jongdae friends?", you questioned.

He laughed but it sounded bitterly. "We are far from what you consider "friends"", he emphasized the last word mockingly.

"Okay... but you do seem to know him well. How come? What kind of relationship do you have?", you continued asking.

"Enough questions for today. Follow me." You hadn't even noticed that the car had stopped. He grabbed your arm and pulled you out of the car. You nearly fell down but he hadn't payed any attention. He dragged you towards a big building.

Lotus Hotel, you read, Wait hotel. You breath hitched.

As you entered it seemed like your eyes could pop out of your head any second. It was one of those luxury hotels you only see in movies. It is not like you hadn't already visited a lot of beautiful hotels due to your job. But this one.

It was Bigger. More ostentatious. Just too much.

Your high heels clicked over the grey marble floor. When you passed the reception the man behind it bowed deeply.

"It is good to have you back here, Master. The suite is prepared", the man was handing him a key.

Master? You turned your head to shoot him a weirded out face. Is this some kind of fetish thing? The guy is creeping me out more and more.

The mysterious man gave him a quick nod before disappearing into the elevator. He let go of your wrist. Immediately you pulled your arm close to your chest and rubbed over the spot where his hand where. He had left a little red mark. You observed how he sticked the key into the keyhole which was hidden behind 0 flap. He turned it around the button at the very top lit up. He pressed it.

22 th floor.

The doors closed and with a start the elevator began to move.

At floor 5 you dared to ask: "Why did you brought me here?"

He responded not until you had reached floor 13: "You are useful to me" His eyes were fixed on the closed door like he was expecting someone to enter.

"Useful? In what kind of way?", you demanded to know at 14.

"Hadn't we agreed that you won't drill me with your questions anymore, darling?", his voice was a mixture of true kindness but also pure annoyance.

"We hadn't agreed on anything. You are just ordering me to be quiet! And I'm not your darling! Or honey! Or anything else like that. By the way I think I do have all the rights to ask you as many questions as I want, considering that you kinda abducted me!", you exploded.

You observed his face in the mirror in front of you. A smug smile spread over his face. "Did I?"

Before you could even think of a good answer the "ping" of the elevator indicated that you had reached your floor. The doors opened. He reached over to grab your arm again but you had already stomped out of the elevator. Clearly pissed. He followed you.

It took you a little to notice that you were actually standing in a room. There was no corridor with different doors like you were used to from "normal" hotels. You were standing in some kind of living room. A big dark blue couch in the middle. It was faced towards glass facade. A view all over the city greeted you. The lights from passing cars on the street where dancing gracefully through the dark.

You couldn't help but your mouth gaping open. You approached the windows and pressed your nose against it to look down. Only then you realized how high you actually were. Instantly you felt a little dizziness which you stumbled a few steps back.

"You like the view?", he chuckled at your close to childish behaviour. He was standing right behind you. You felt his present even withough him putting a single finger on you.

How weird ? It should bother you that he was so close to you. But it was quite the contrary. Your heart was pounding against your chest. You didn't dared to turn around. Either it would ruin the atmosphere.

Or it could ruin you.

"I need you to stay with me for a little while", his breath was hot against your neck. His lips could possibly only be a few inches away from touching your skin. You held your breath.

A little shiver went down your spine as you felt something different against your back. It was cold. Even through the layers of your dress you could feel it.

A gun.

"You are sure that she isn't captured on one of the cameras?!", Jongdae questioned for the third time already.

"Yeah Sir. 100% sure. We checked it twice", a Junmyeon annouced.

"Only twice?! You made a mistake. She must have left the hotel in some kind of way", he gulped, "Alive."

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Sir. I checked it twice and Yixing also. There is no trace of her."

Jongdae chewing on his bottom lip. A habit he had developed when he was nervous. She can't be gone.

"Only because you couldn't reach her doesn't mean something happened to her. I'm sure she is fine, Sir", the boy tried to reassure him, "Y/N is a clever girl!"

"I know Junmyeon! I know her better than you. I know her better then everyone", Jongdae snapped. He was furious.

Jongdae had something really intimitading when he was angry. A thick vein is appearing on his neck and he got this wild gaze. Normally people would have already shit their pants but Junmyeon didn't even blinked an eye. He knew him well. And his temper tantrums.

Jongdae sighed heavily and supported himself on his desk. His shoulders sagging forward. He wasn't looking at Junmyeon.

"I'm sorry man. I just need to know that she is save."

This was one of the rare moments you could actually see Jondae's vulnerable side. It only happened when something happened to his family or with Y/N. Junmyeon knew that she was important to him. He rounded the big wooden desk and rested a hand on Jongdae's shoulder.

"We'll find her."
