He's athletic.
A lacrosse player to be exact. She thinks that's cute. She plays field hockey, a goalie. She thinks that they would get along nicely. During one of her daydreams, she pictured their 6 month anniversary. She got him a keychain with a field hockey stick and a lacrosse stick, similar to the charm bracelet in If I Stay. She thinks he looks like Adam Wilde. She pictured his reaction when she gave him the gift. She doesn't like presents, but he got her one anyway; a matching bracelets with the date they first met on it. She teared up. She gave him his present. She said "do you get it, it's like in my favorite movie". They had watched that movie together. She cried, he watched her. He liked seeing her emotional, vulnerable. He liked seeing that she was real, she was relatable, she was different from the other girls. He liked his gift, he didn't ever not have it with him. They both were two pieces of glass that had shattered a long time ago. They both never thought they would find the shards that had been lost during the break, but then they found each other and their pieces fit together as one again.

Then the daydream was over, she wished it was real
