Team 10 Story

Chapter 2

I drop my bags on the floor and plop onto my bed. Ahh, I'm finally part of Team 10, a group of young, like-minded youtubers that create videos on a combined channel. I just moved to LA from my little town in Ohio, once my older brother, Jake Paul, invited me to join, it's a big change but I'll get used to it. Tessa, one of the members who I have FaceTimed a million times and we're best friends, walks in.
"Heyy girl." I say stretching the y. Tessa laughed.
"You know what I just thought about." She said, I cock my head as if asking what. "Well, you aren't going to be the newest member for very long since the Martinez twins are joining tomorrow."
I thought for a minute.
"Your right, aw man, my new girl thunder will be stolen." I joke. We laugh, "Now let's go eat I'm starving." We go to a tiny restaurant and eat dinner then get Starbucks and come back home.
"Alright, I'm going to sleep, it may be early but you know, jet lag." I say walking upstairs.
"Okay, goodnight, and wake up early so we can pick up the Martinez twins with Jake." Tessa reminds me.
"I'll try." I reply. I get in my pajamas and go to sleep. The next day I wake up at 11. Crap, I thought. I'm too late to go with Jake and Tessa to get the twins from the airport. I look at the phone and see 15 texts from Tessa. They all say sorry we left without you Jake said we should let you sleep and her apologizing for no waking me up. I responded with "It's fine just text me when you guys are leaving the airport." She said that they just got there. I realized that everyone was gone so I connected my phone to the house speakers and blasted my music. I took a shower, get dressed, and put on light makeup. I headed downstairs and grabbed a granola bar before plopping on the couch to watch a movie. I got a text from Tessa saying they were leaving now and I got excited. I haven't seen what the Martinez twins look like, I'm excited for a surprise. Not too long after the text the front door opens and I look over. Wow.
