Team 10 Story

Chapter 11

Tessa and I grab the biggest guns there are and two mini guns each. We run to the kitchen and work out a plan.
"Have you ever used a Nerf gun before?" I ask her.
"Yeah, have you?" She replies.
"I grew up with two older brothers, of course I have." I answer. "What should our team name be?"
"Uh, how about Amazons, like the female warriors." She offers. I smirk and nod in agreement.
"Amazons on 3, 1,2,3..." I say
"AMAZONS!!" We scream as loud as we can in unison. Then we hear the boys.
"1,2,3...SAVAGES!!" They scream. Tessa and I laugh at their name.
"The war will start in 3,2,1...BEGIN." Jake shouts. Tessa and I look at each other and I see Ivan. I shoot at him and miss, he tries to shoot at me but I dodge it and shoot him in the arm. Tessa and I high five.
"One down, three to go." I say running and ducking behind a wall. I shoot Jake and he stands over by Ivan. Now it's just Tristan, Emilio, Tessa and I left. Tessa and I go after Tristan but in the back of my mind I wonder where Emilio is. All of the sudden a hand covers my mouth and I'm picked up. Emilio. Tessa shoots Tristan and turns around to see me getting carried up the stairs. She has one bullet left and she shoots at Emilio. She hits him in the leg and he puts me down. I run over to Tessa.
"VICTORY." We shriek jumping up and down. I turn to the boys.
"Boys, tuxes, chop chop." I say clapping my hands. They grudge up the stairs. Tessa and I follow behind to get dressed since we were still in our bathing suits. I put in a greenish gray long sleeve that has arrows on it, ripped jeans, and white converse.

I walk downstairs and see Jake, Ivan, Emilio, and Tristan all in tuxes. Tessa walks down right behind me and walks over to Tristan.

I walk over to Emilio.
"You clean up nice, we should make you my butler all the time" I say. He smiles and kisses me.
"Yeah, no." He replies. I laugh and sit down on the couch, Tessa comes sits next to me.
"So Tessa darling, are you hungry?" I ask with a fake accent. She laughs.
"Why, I am indeed hungry." She says. We look at the boys, they look unamused.
"What would you like, how about Chipotle?" I question, Tessa nods with excited agreement. "Jake, Ivan, would you two be dolls and fetch some tacos for me and burritos for Tessa. Oh and while your at it can you get two Cotton Candy frappucinos. Thank you." They look at me with an "are you serious?" look. "Go on now." I nudge. Jake grabs his keys and heads out the door with Ivan walk out the door.
"Alright now for you two." Tessa says pointing to Tristan and Emilio. They groan. I whisper to Tessa.
"I just want to cuddle with Emilio."
"I just want to cuddle with Tristan." She whispers back.
"I have an idea just follow along." I reply. "Okay so this may be a little hard, but I'm sure you two can succeed." I say with my fake accent again. "I need you guys to get two warm blankets and come cuddle with us." I conclude. They look at each other and smile.
"We won." Emilio says. I giggle at his childishness.
"Good thinking girl." Tessa compliments.
"Jake and Ivan are gonna get so mad." I say laughing. Emilio and Tristan come back with blankets. Emilio comes and sits next to me on the couch, I cuddle close to him and Tessa decides to put on a movie.
"How about a horror movie?" She asks. We all agree but I feel nervous. I'm not good with scary movies and afterwards I get scared at the smallest things. But I agree anyway. We are watching the movie and my face is nuzzled completely into Emilio's chest. I finally sit up once the movie is done and the door opens. I scream bloody murder as Jake and Ivan walk in with our food and drinks.
"Hey, that's unfair, they got to be lazy and watch a movie while we were driving all around town, also Tegan, you are really loud." Jake whines.
"Hey don't blame me, we just watched a scary movie, you know how I am with those." I say.
"Anyway, two burritos and a Cotton Candy frappucino for Tessa. And for Tegan, another frappucino and two gluten-free tacos. Wow you've been here for two months and your so LA already with your gluten-free stuff." Jake lists. I stick my tongue out at him.
"You're so childish."
"Yup, but you love me." I say.
"Nope, I definitely don't." He replies.
"Whatever, I'm gonna eat, then let's do something fun." I say standing up.
"Oh, I had this idea earlier, what about giant Jenga?" Jake asks.
"I'm down, what about you guys." I say. They all nod their heads in agreement. We set up and start playing. Anthony, one of Jake's friends from Ohio pulls a block and the tower starts to fall. Emilio is in the way, I rush over and push him out of the way, but that didn't stop the tower from falling right on my foot.
