Team 10 Story

Chapter 13

We arrive at Target and Erika goes with Jake to buy groceries leaving Tessa, Chance, Anthony, Ivan, Emilio, and I to wander. We grabbed two carts and began to walk around. Once the boys stopped to look at something Tessa and I jumped into the carts. They turned around and I got an idea.
"Yo, we should have a race, me and the twins versus Tessa, Chance, and Anthony." I scream.
"I'm down." Tessa replies.
"Same." Ivan and Emilio say in unison.
"Count us in." Chance says pointing to him and Anthony.
"Ooh, we should have food nicknames since we're in a grocery store." I say. They all nod in agreement and we turn to our teams to discuss.
"What have you guys eaten recently?" I ask.
"We just ate a bunch of jalapeños with Chad and Jake." Ivan replies. A light bulb pops on my mind.
"Jalapeños are hot, we're hot, eh, you see where I'm going with this?" I say. They nod their heads. I laugh to myself.
"We should be the jalapeño hotties." I manage out through my laughs. They laugh.
"I agree." Emilio says.
"Okay that's settled, it's the..." I announce pointing towards the other group.
"Kung Fu Coco Puffs." They reply.
"Versus they Jalapeño Hotties." We say. We all laugh at our cliche names. We set boundaries and get ready at the starting line, I really hope we don't run into anyone.
"On your marks, get set, GO!" I screams. We jolt forward and the twins start pushing with me laughing as hard as I've ever laughed. We are just barely ahead of the Coco Puffs when we cross the finish line.
"Yes we won VICTORY LAP!" Emilio screamed. They started to run full speed then let go of the cart and was hurled straight for a shelf.
"Aaaah!"I screamed. The cart ran into the shelf and tipped over, making me fall out. "Thanks guys that was a great victory lap." I sarcastically stated. They laughed. I see the microphone that speaks through the whole store and run over to it.
"Tegan don't do it." Chance yells.
"Too late." I say back. I grab the microphone and scream through it
"LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE ON YOUTUBE AT TEGAN PAUL!" An employee comes over.
"I'm going to need you to leave that is not allowed in this store." He says. I begin to walk out but right as I'm at the door I scream again.
"OHIO!"
"OHIO!" Chance and Anthony reply. Us three laugh and sit outside waiting for Jake and Erika. We don't have to wait long because they heard the intercom. Jake comes out and see me then starts laughing.
"What happened, why are you guys waiting out here?" Erika asks us.
"Well you heard the announcement right?" I ask.
"Yeah." She replies.
"Well they didn't enjoy my plug and kicked me out." I say. Jake begins cracking up.
"Always plug!" He struggles out through laughter. We all laugh and head home. I go up to my room and get into my pajamas since its 12. Emilio comes up.
"Tegan, you're a savage." He says. I laugh.
"It's true." I kiss him and lay down in my bed. He comes over and lays with me.
"I'm going to sleep, goodnight baby." I say to him. He kisses my forehead.
"Goodnight babygirl." I fall asleep in Emilio's arms, smiling.
