Chapter Fourteen: The Alliance

Dede's POV

"Where's Kitty?" I asked Max for the hundredth time as he glared at Harry who was sitting on his couch, face in his hands.

"I don't know."

"How can you not know where your little sister is?!"

"She ran off."

Thunder boomed around the apartment and I glanced at the window to see it was pouring down rain, "What did you do, max?" I whispered, staring at the older brother of my best friend.

"Liam, I want to make a deal with you."  Max ignored me.

Liam's arm tightened around my waist and he quickly turned all protective and even more serious than usual... which was a hella lot more attractive than usual.

"What?"

"I pledge that if you ban your pack member, Harry Styles, from seeing my little sister and in return we can have an alliance between the two of us."

"NO!" Harry screams, running at Max. Louis and Zayn were quickly by his side, holding him back as Harry screamed at Max, "LIAM! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS TO ME!" Harry begs Liam, who was silent.

"An Alliance?"

"Yes."

"Liam, don't do anything foolish." I whispered to him.

"I accept your alliance. Harry Styles, I use the Alpha Command to order you to never see Caitlin Davis as long as you are in my pack."

Harry stopped fighting as he collapsed onto his knee's, Zayn stared at Liam in horror, "Liam, don't-"

"I am your Alpha. What I say goes. My priority is to take care of my pack, and this alliance is the way to do it. No matter what the cost is." turning Liam shook the smirking Max's hand, "A deal's a deal."

"A deal's a deal." Max nodded.

"Louis, Zayn, Niall, go look for Caitlin-"

"I'm going too." I ripped myself away from Liam.

"No you're not." Liam growls.

"Why not? Are you going to ban me from seeing Caitlin too?" I snapped at him.

"You're not going, I am the Alpha-"

"Don't you dare try to use that witch mumbo jumbo Alpha shit on me." I glared at Liam, "Come on Louis, Zayn, Niall. Let's go." I stormed out of Harry's place, leaving Kitty's apartment key she gave to me three years ago - which is weird because I actually don't know what she lives - and waited by the front entrance of the building.

Louis finds himself by my side and takes a hold of my arm, "Come on, we need to go before it starts flooding." I slid into his car. 

"We have to look for her like this because the rain would have washed her scent away, so I'm basically useless." Louis turns the engine on and he starts driving through the rain.

"Louis... what does Liam mean when Harry is banned from seeing Caitlin?"

"It mean's Caitlin and Harry won't be okay for the rest of their lives. They'll be empty and numb, sometimes even suicidal." Louis whispers as I stared out of my window.

"... They're going suffer, aren't they?"

"Soon, it'll be two days before Caitlin will get hit with a wave of mixed emotions from numbness to depression by being away from each other for so long. Harry was going to mark her when Max came in, which mean's he's feeling it right now since he's a wolf and all."
