Chapter Twenty Two: Shift.

 Diana's POV

 His cold fingers touched my arm as he prods at my skin, "It won't be long Alpha Payne, so any breakages will be soon fixed up."

"Are you sure it'll be soon?" Liam asks as I tiredly at the doctor who nods before continuing making sure I was 'okay'.

"All she needs to do is lay down and sleep for a bit before the right time comes." the doctor gives me a smile before he leaves.

Liam slides onto the bed next to me and wraps an arm around me before he slowly lays me down and pulls the blankets over us "Don't worry Diana, the pain will soon stop."

I closed my eyes, and it felt only like a second when they snapped open again as agonizing pain shot through me, "LIAM!" I screamed and Liam bolts up next to me, wide awake before he scoops me up and starts running, "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?! WHY AREN'T YOU GETTING THE DOCTOR?! GIVE ME SOME DRUGS YOU FUCK HEAD!" I yelled at him, trying to punch him as even more pain hits me.

Liam puts me on the ground - yes, on the ground, and that does not help with my anger issue.

He sit next to me, playing with my hair, "I'm here Dede, don't worry-"

"FUCK IT ALL!" I screeched at my arm floods with pain, and then there was a loud snap. Screaming as tears came to my eyes as I shuddered from the pain, everything was becoming to hot and painful. More loud snaps and even more pain hit me like a tidal wave, and I didn't think it was possible - but it was even more painful than the torture I received days before.

 "LIAM!" I yelled as I squirmed on the floor, Liam jumps back and that's when I felt like I exploded. Laying on the earth, staring up at the top of tree's while not feeling any pain I looked over to see a awe struck Liam, "Liam?" but when I said that, it didn't sound like my voice, it sounded more like a bark. Then I started to freak out, looking at myself I found myself covered in fur, I yelped and twisted on the forest floor, trying to see anywhere that didn't have any brown fur with pale yellow spots on it.

 "Calm down Diana, this is your wold-"

Howling I tried to stand up on my own feet - paws, but I kept falling down. Laughing at me Liam walks over to me, causing me to growl at him, "Here." he grabs a hold of me and slowly helps me onto my paws - but I just fell onto him again.

"Ooph." Liam yelps, rolling off of him I looked to see if he was okay, only to see him explode into a slightly darker brown wolf, he trots over to me and leans against my side.

"Try to stand-" HOLY SHIT I CAN HEAR LIAM'S VOICE IN MY HEAD - "Calm down sweet heart, this is a natural thing for us-"

Natural thing? Natural thing?! I can no longer thing pervey thoughts without Liam over hearing them?! 

"Well, it does work both ways... and we can put up a block with our communications if you want. Now, let's focus on walking, okay? Lean against me and try to stand." leaning against one another, I shakily stood up and Liam licks the side of my face.

Gross - "Technically it was a doggy kiss."

Doggy kiss my ass, you just dragged your huge freaking tongue over the left side of my face. I gave him an one-eyed glared and he barks happily before pulling away from me - barking at him in fear I quickly fell face first and went limp in embarrassment.

Slowly I pulled my face from the earth and spat some leaves out before I dragged my large paw over my tongue, trying to get rid of the foul tasting leaf from it. I quickly spot Liam rolling on the floor, tail wagging and soon his laughter filled my head. Scowling at him I rolled myself over to him and thunked him on the head with my large brown paw, and that shut him up.
