Hey guys, today I'm going to show you how to give someone a tattoo(graphic wise). I will show you how to add a black and white tattoo and a colorful tattoo. This technique will be used next week when I show you how to make the 'Closer' album cover!(Chainsmokers/Halsey)
You might want to use the photos below:
1. Open your photo of a person. This can be an actual photo or a graphic that you created with a person on it.
2. Open a black and white picture of something like the examples above(flower, bird...) Go to transform and choose the multiply setting. This way only the black 'ink' will be seen.
Tip: You can also use the technique in the previous chapter if you need the tattoo to be behind something like clothing.
Save and you're done!
For a colorful tattoo:
1. Open a photo of a colorful tattoo or a colorful pattern. Position it over where you the tattoo to be. For example, I'm giving this person a tattoo sleeve so I'm putting it over their arm. Then go to hard light in the transition section and turn down the opacity.
2. Erase the entire thing.
3. Now, add it back in the areas where you want the tattoo to be.
Tip: When the tattoo ends have it fade out. This makes it look more realistic(in my opinion)
Save and you're done!
