Paris's P.O.V.)

I leaned on my wall as Bigby began to speak.

"Why did you bring her tonight!?"

I narrowed my eyes.

"First, stop yelling at me. It isn't like I knew what she was. Second of all, she isn't dangerous, it's not lik-"

I was cut off by Bigby. He wrapped his arms around me, blocking the subtle light flowing in from the window.

"Would you rather me whisper?" His voice was low and sent shivers up my spine.

"N-No. Get off B-Bigby."

He smirked and I knew I lost this battle.

"Why? You even said you would choose me."

"Yeah. Over Woody. Not Luna."

"Who is Luna?"

I looked up at him and he backed away slightly.

"Luna is the Demon of the Moon. The one that was here tonight."

He growled and I backed up from his grasp. I mumbled the last part.

"The one I like."

His gaze met mine.

"What did you say?"

I raised my gaze and took a step forward, the thought of Luna filling me with determination.

"The one I like. Over you."

He sat on the bed and I heard Luna squeak. Unfortunately so did Bigby. The next moment Luna was backed up to the wall with BIgby between us. She looked super nervous, Bigby being at least a foot taller than her. I saw she had a bruise forming on her lower calf and was struggling to stay on her feet.

"This is her?" Bigby seemed to look her up and down before tossing her aside and I heard her yelp as she hit the floor. Bigby clenched his hands into fists. For moments nothing interrupted the deafening silence except the drip drop of the rain outside. Then the clouds moved and the moon was exposed. Luna's eyes widened and became glossy. She stood and flashed me caniand her before disappearing. Bigby turned to the window and my heart stopped beating. The raindrops were forming words.

"Shards of glass can do more than cut"

Before I could move Bigby was outside, running towards the police building where he worked. Minutes later sirens were echoing through the city. I jumped out the window and ran towards the forest, my footsteps echoing through dense trees. I came across Luna sitting on a root in the middle of the woods. Scratches were across her face and when she looked up at me I couldn't help but thinks of a broken doll. I sat down next to her as the sirens got louder. I leaned onto her and heard rustling off leaves from the footsteps of people looking for her. She turned her head quickly and our lips met, for one blissful moment, the world was ours. She pulled away and ran, as I watched her every movement. I sighed and turned and took no more than a couple steps, before I ran into Bigby. His shirt was torn and he had wounds covering his abdomen.

"B-Bigby?"

"Where is Sa-Luna?"

I paused.

"Wait, who's Sa?"

Anger flooded his expression.

"You don't get it?!"

I held my hands up and backed away.

"Bigby. What's wrong? What happened."

He glared at me before mumbling so softly I can't believe I heard it.

"Bloody Mary is dead. L-Luna's Mother is...."

I gasped.

"W-what?!"

He ran past me and I stumbled. I heard another voice and someone was pulling me to my feet.

"Paris?"

The head detective was shaking me.

"Where is Bigby? Paris! Come one!"

I shook him off and ran to the street. Puddles soaked the soles of my shoes as I came to the station.
