SORRY FOR THE VERY, VERY LATE UPDATE! I've been so busy the past few months but I'm going to try my hardest to update with the little free time I now have because I miss writing. My GCSEs are coming up in a week and I can't find the time to do lots of updating so chapters may come up slow. After June they will come more regularly because I'll have more time but for now they'll be very slow.

Sorry again.

My eyes opened wider in shock. "Merry Christmas sir." Lucy said with a huge grin on her face. The rest of us looked at each other confused, but also amazed. "I thought there was no Christmas in Narnia." Susan said.

"It hasn't been for a hundred years. But now the Witch's power is crumbling." Santa stated as he lifted out a huge bag of presents.

Lucy ran up to Santa first. He handed her a healing cordial, which could heal any injury, and a dagger. Susan approached him next. She was handed a bow and arrows and a horn so she could call for help if there was danger. Then it was my turn. I slowly walked towards Santa. "Dear Ivy, this is your father's sword." He pulled out a sword inside of a belt from the bag and handed it to me. I pulled it out of the belt and admired it. It was a shiny silver and the top of the handle was incrusted with red jewels. I was mesmerised by it. "Use it well Ivy, your father would be proud."

"Everyone keeps talking about my father. Was he here in Narnia?" I asked.

"It will all be explained to you. I am not the right person to tell you. Be patient and the answer will come to you."

As I looked at my sword, Peter had gotten his. But I was too busy admiring the beauty of the silver weapon in my hands. It carried mystery as I wondered why my dad would be in Narnia. "I best be off." Santa said. "Winter is almost over and things so pile up when you've been gone a hundred years." As he got into his sleigh, Santa looked at us and said, "Long live Aslan" before rushing away. We all shouted, "Merry Christmas" at him as he rode away.

"Told you he was real." Lucy said to Susan smugly. I giggled before Peter made a realisation.

"Did you hear what he said? Winter is almost over." I looked at him, confused. "You know what that means... no more ice." We all looked at each other in panic.

"We have to hurry." I exclaimed as I put my sword into my belt. We quickly went back onto the path we were on before and hurried to the lake.
