From the closeness we shared, we had a relationship. And I felt the happiness I was hoping for. I felt like I forgot the sorrow I felt before. I felt like I was renewed.
The days went by and the competition came. I was nervous again but I remembered that I had enough time practicing with my happiness, Penelope. She made me feel I was whole again, and that I wasn't alone in this world.
When I was already in the school for the competition, I gathered all my courage. I, soon, faced my opponent. I knew my opponent before because he was a former chess player in our school. He was Julrian Seth. He was also a great chess player and I think we will have a good fight.
After some minutes of competing with him, I won. I was glad because all of the hard work I encounetered was paid. I went home very happy and I called Penelope.
"Hey," I said.
"So? How did the competition go?" she replied.
"Guess what happened,"
"What happened?"
"I won!" I said as I jumped for joy.
"Really? That's great! See me tomorrow because I have a surprise for you,"
"Surprise for what?"
"For your win. Okay?"
"Okay. I love you so much, Penelope."
"I love you more, Clark."
We really loved each other so much and because of her, my life is complete, again.
