summer p.o.v
Its been 6 years since hes been gone. He wouldve been 19 now. I have been in contact with his brother. He misses him too.
Im in college now. The same college he wanted to go too. I've seen this new boy. His name is mark. Hes really nice and cute. We've been talking alot. I haven't dated anybody since freddy. I don't want to be hurt again.
"Summer" Yells my roomate against the door. I get up from thoughts and yell back. "What?" I yell. "Lets go. We have class". I look at the clock and see its 8:30. Crap. I get up and quickly get ready. I walk out of my room and go to the kitchen and grab a poptart. I look at my phone to see 8:45.
"Why do you always wake up late?" My roommate asked me. Btw her name is brooklyn. "Because I was binge watching-" she stops me from finishing my sentence. "Gossip girl" brooklyn says with attitude. "Yes" I say. We walk out the door and lock it. We go to the elevator and I see mark with 2 coffee cups. Is one for me? .
"Hey" mark says. "Hi" I respond while tucking a piece of hair bhenid my ear. "Here you go" He says while handing me a cup. "Thank you" I say. We then all 3 walk into the elevator. Brooklyn and mark have their small talk. They dated but broke up. I made this promise to myself not to date anyone if I know in the end I will get hurt.
I will not date/like mark. He cheated on brooklyn. What a jerk?? But a really nice, funny jerk.
