I brush my thumb over the skin of the back of his neck making him shiver slightly. He carries me back to the room and lays me on the bed before going and turning off the lights and turning on a movie. Hunter refuses to tell me what we're watching as he comes amd lays beside me. He rolls on to his back pulling me onto my side so my cheek is resting on his chest. Turning my head I smile into his chest as we lay on the bed watching a movie. I keep fighting sleep as his fingers run over my back and shoulder.
I'm nearly asleep when his hand stops moving, looking up I see that his eyes are closed. My mate has fallen asleep in a matter of minutes. I pull my phone out of my pocket and take a picture of us. I mentally facepalm myself as the flash goes off and he jumps into a sitting position, nearly knocking us off the bed.
He looks at me with wild eyes and I instantly feel guilty for waking him up. I listen as his heart beat slows and tell him what happened. Hunter shakes his head with a smile and lays back down. He runs his fingers through my hair again, taking my phone. Then he tilts his head and kisses me, snapping a photo as my hand moves up his chest to his neck and my lips touch his.
We spend the next few minutes taking pictures and laughing, totally ignoring the movie. He sends them to himself and hands my phone back to me. I kiss his chest and neck, snuggling into his side before we fall asleep together.
I wake a bit later to my phone vibrating in my pocket and gently move from under Hunter's arm before padding barefoot out to the kitchen to answer the phone. Adrian's voice fills my ear and I cant help but roll my eyes as he rambles on about the chaos at school before getting to the important part which causes my blood to boil.
