My Angel

RECAP: Sophie stretches her legs out and hooks her ankles together behind my back, pulling me closer and smiles. I rest my hands on the counter on either side of her. A smirk appears on my lips as I still tower over her even with her sitting on the counter. She wraps her arms around my neck and sticks her tongue out playfully then licks my cheek.

      I can't help but smile at the beautiful girl in front of me. She's more than I could've ever dreamt that she'd be. I thought to myself. Her soft brown eyes were playful now but I could still see the dark cloud that was Colten hiding in the shadows of them. I make her a promise that I wouldn't interfere and I planned to keep it as long as possible.
      It was only when Sophie's finger tapped my nose that I realized that I'd missed the last 30 seconds of reality. A melodic laugh filled the room as I made a face. She lifted her hand to her face in an attempt to cover her laughter but I gently moved her hand and brushed my thumb against her cheek. She instinctively leaned into my touch, I felt my wolf raise his head at the contact then relaxing in content.
      A low growl echoed between us as I slid my hand down her side. Her eyes trailed after my hand before she looked up through her lashes. In an instant her arms were drapped around my shoulders as I lifted her from the counter, pulling her tightly against my chest. Her lips met mine for a moment before she parted her lips and flicking her tongue against the silver hoop through my lip. My wolf begin pushing towards the surface as we moved down the hall.
    As we made it to the room, Sophie let go and I slowly let her back onto her feet, she stepped away from me just long enough to slam the door shut, twisting the lock. She turned back to me, her eyes  flashing almost gold before propelling us backwards onto the bed. I watched with hooded eyes as she discarded her shirts, leaving her in a lacey back bra and white shorts.
   She straddled my waist, pressing her chest against mine as our lips met again. My fingers tangled in her hair, holding her closer as my tongue slid inside her mouth. I rolled us over, pressing her body  into the mattress beneath us and trailed kisses down her neck to her chest, care to keep my teeth from grazing her skin and my right hand slowly traced down the outside of her left thigh before bringing it up to my hip.
    Carefully keeping my weight off of her, I lifted my lips from her chest and met her gaze. She looked like an angel, her long hair was splayed out over the pillows, her honey eyes dancing brightly with her lips parted slightly with heavy breathing, she was angel and she was mine.
               "I love you"

     Her eyes widened slightly as she whispered "What?"

I leaned closer to her, my lips close enough to brush hers as I spoke, "I love you". My lips met hers softly as first then hungrier as her arms tightened around the back of my neck, her body arching against mine. She pulled away just long enough to brush her lips against my ear, "I love you too".
