SCOTT'S POV

We've arrived in Oakland, and have 5 days till the opening show of tour. I couldn't be more stressed out! We still need to fine tune our arrangements, practice choreography, run soundchecks... the list never ends.

Deep breaths, I reminded myself before the band meeting. Sometimes I can get too passionate about my ideas for our songs, which occasionally causes friction between me and Mitch, or me and Avi. Thank god for Kevin, he quickly resolves these disagreements.

"Rehearsals, rehearsals, wooooo", I announced when I walked in the room at sat at the head of the table.

Shit, am I late?

My four band members didn't look pleased when I entered the room.

"You're late", Mitch exclaimed, glaring at me.

"Well, what's new", I shrugged in response.

Kevin laughed his hilarious high pitched laugh, making all of us smile.

"Let's get down to business, then", Kirstie said.

Kevin handed us the sheets for Uptown Funk, and we began practicing. An hour later, we moved on to Christus and Aha!

Christus was a bit tricky to arrange. We struggled to find the perfect pitch for it. When Avi sang the first verse, it sounded hypnotic. How is his voice so low? I don't know if I'm more jealous or impressed.

After Avi finished the verse, he looked up at us with his eyebrows raised.

"No, it sounded too low."

Was I too blunt?

With Avi, the band has learned not be too blunt when giving feedback since he's quite sensitive.

"Yeah, it was too low", Kevin agreed.

"What note was it?" I asked Avi.

Avi shrugged in response.

"Here, sing in C2", I instructed Avi, pressing a key on my piano phone app.

After a few more tries, we perfected Christus and Aha!

AVI'S POV

I'm pretty tired after spending the last few hours rehearsing, but it's time to see the set now. My heart's racing! I'm not sure what to expect, but I know the production and stage is going to be just grand and mind blowing.

"Okay, stop right here", our set manger, John told us, while we stood in near pitch darkness.

"Lights", he spoke into his headset.

When the lights flashed on, and I took in the stage and entire set, my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe the sight in front of my eyes! The audience is going to feel like they're at a rock concert.

I can't believe how big this arena is. How did we go from kids who posted covers on YouTube, to a world famous band playing in a sold out arena? This is just surreal.

All of us looked at each other in disbelief.

"Woah this is sick. I just-" Kevin shook his head, at a loss of words.

Scott had his hand over his mouth. "Our families are gonna freak out", he exclaimed.

Scott met my eyes with his, and I laughed in disbelief. He put his arm around me and breathed, "I just can't believe this".

I smiled and leaned into his side.

John looked very pleased at our reactions.

"Okay, now why don't we start with the intro".

We sat down and began singing the intro. After we finished, we tried it again on stage.

"Great. Well done team. Let's call it a night", Kevin said, giving us high fives.

"Ugh I'm exhausted", Mitch sighed.

Scott gave him a hug. "Movie night, Mitchie?"

"Yes Queen. Let's do it".

"Who else is joining?"

"Not me, I need to go over the cello parts".

"Me neither, I'm working with Ben on a song for the original album", Kirstie answered.

"Big daddy"? Mitch asked, looking at me.

"I- I", I struggled to come up with an excuse. I didn't particularly want to interrupt a Scomiche cuddling session.

"Great, you're in", Scott said pulling my arm.

"Fine. But no chick flicks", I said sternly, looking at Scott and Mitch.

"Do you really think you'll be choosing the movie?" Mitch sassed, raising an eyebrow at me.

I super frowned at him.

This better be good, or I'm out in the first 10 minutes.
