Alexa saw her best friend Misty dancing and singing her heart out in her VIP section.
"Missy," she had to nearly scream to be heard over the loud speakers in the club.
"Glad to see that your ass finally decided to show up."
The two giggled at one another and Misty pulled Alexa into one of her signature hugs.
"What in the hell took you so long getting here anyway?"
"Well, I couldn't make up my mind if I really wanted to come or not but I couldn't let you down."
Misty rolled her eyes a little and walked away from her. Alexa crossed her arms over her shoulders and took a deep breath before walking over to the others that were in attendence. Truth be told none of these people were really Alexa's friends and the only reason that she hung around any of them was because she felt almost obligated to do so. After Alexa's parents were divorced she moved to Las Vegas with her mother and sister, and on her first day of her freshman year in high school, Misty and Alexa bumped into another and 'became best friends.' If only people knew the truth behind their friendship. Walking slowly to join the crowd Alexa looked over at Sage and smiled, while he gave her the finger. Alexa knew she didn't fit in and hated herself for even coming out to this stupid party.
Bruno watched Alexa from his side of the club. It was clear as day that she was uncomfortable and wanted to be rescued from her current misery. All of his friends were beyond wasted and on their way back to their respected hotel rooms, but Bruno stayed behind. Hating to see Alexa go through anymore boredom he decided to make his move now.
"Pedro, check please."
Pedro nodded his head and handed Bruno his check. Paying his tab, he left a $100 dollar tip and walked over to Alexa.
"Excuse me."
All the females turned to look at him in complete awe.
"Yes Bruno."
He shook his head and laughed, THIS was what he was used to.
"Can I talk to Alexa, please?"
"Why do you wanna talk to her for?"
Bruno noticed that Alexa dropped her head after that 'insult.'
"Last time I checked we were both grown."
Alexa smiled a little at Bruno's fiery comeback, usually people let Misty have her way. The next thing Alexa knew Anya was pouring a whole bottle of Vodka on her dress.
"Here's your slit Bruno, all nice and wet for you."
Everyone started laughing as Alexa's eyes flooded with tears. She ran past everyone and sat down on the ground and cried her eyes out, little did she knew that Bruno wasn't too far behind her.
Bruno walked over to Alexa and knelt down in front of her slowly, as if she was a lioness about to eat her prey.
"Alexa."
She didn't respond, only cried harder. Bruno slid a little closer to her and placed her head on his chest.
"Why did you run after me?"
"Because you're pretty damn special to me."
Her cries has turned to sobs.
"You don't even know me."
"I know, but I want to know you."
"Really?"
"Yes, really."
She smiled at him.
"Thank you."
"Don't thank me yet."
"Why not?"
"Because I'm taking you out."
"I look a mess and it's like 2 in the morning."
"Sweetheart, this Vegas."
Alexa laughed before she sat up.
"Ok, you win, but I have to go home and change clothes."
"No you don't."
"Why not?"
"I'm Bruno Mars and I can get you a change of clothes."
He stood up and outstretched his hand. Alexa took his hand and stood as well. The two started walking down the dark alley back towards the hotel.
"Trust me doll, you'll have a lot of fun with me."
