Lauren could only laugh as her sister described her night with Bruno. The way her face lit up was something that she hadn’t seen on her younger sibling in a long time.
“I’m glad you enjoyed yourself, now I won’t have to call mom and tell her about the not so sweet new guy in your life.”
Alexa rolled her eyes and took another spoonful of her grapefruit, heavy on the sugar.
“How is mom doing out in LA anyway?”
Lauren titled her head upwards as if she was really thinking about it.
“Hmm maybe if you called her yourself you’d know.”
Alexa once again rolled her eyes, but this time she threw a grape at her sister.
“Whatevs.”
The two giggled for the rest of breakfast and all the way up to their rooms. Lauren was going to spend the day with Reggie and Alexa decided that she’d just stay home and catch up on sleep that she’d needed in her opinion.
“I’m leaving Lexie.”
“Buh bye.”
Alexa placed her Beats over her head and dozed off.
Bruno sat in the studio listening to “Treasure,” and all he could think about was Alexa. He knew that he’d only known her for a day or so but you can’t help your feelings.
“Pete.”
Kameron looked at Bruno like he was insane.
“Are you ok?”
“Uhh yea, listen I’ll be back later.”
He got up and took a copy of the song and headed out the door. Alexa really was his treasure and he wanted her to hear the song before it the radio stations. He headed over to her place and hoped that she understood what he was trying to say through the song.
