Feels Like Love: A Bruno Mars Fan Fiction

Ch. 11

*Two Weeks Later*

         Bruno was in the booth recording his new song when Alexa walked in. When he saw he smiled and took off the headphones.

"Give me five minutes please."

Everyone got up to leave the couple alone.  

"Hey baby."

Alexa responded by pecking his lips and smiled. 

"How's the recording going?"

"Great wanna hear what I'm working on?"

"No I wanna be surprised."

He nodded his head and sat down on the couch and pulled Alexa into his lap. 

"So what are you doing later on tonight?"

"I don't know yet why?"

"Be ready by 7:30, I wanna take you out."

"Ok."

Alexa snuggled her head into Pete's chest and he kissed her hair. Ever since the two decided to give their relationship another shot the two had been in a great place and Pete wanted to keep them where they at right now. The two had even went as far as 'doing the deed,' and Pete had to admit that it had been the best experience of his life maybe this had something to do with the fact that for the first time in his life he had finally felt that he had someone who was worth his love and time. Pete smiled and kissed her hand causing her to giggle. 

"I love you."

Alexa's  eyes grew wide and she leaned up to look Peter in his eyes.

"Are you crazy, not here."

He laughed at her and pecked her lips. 

"I mean I love you."

"I love you too babe."

They smiled at each other and kissed as everyone filed back into the room. 

"Let's finish up this song so we can get out of here."

Peter headed back into the booth and went into Bruno mode and Alexa sat there and smiled. Her man had real talent and she couldn't be prouder of him.

        Later on in the night Bruno took Alexa out and he was shocked by how amazing she looked in the dim lights. He walked to the edge of the dock before he turned her to face him.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

He took a deep breath before he got down on his knee.

"I know that we haven't been together for a long time, but I don't want to lose you. I want to be able to wake up in the morning and see your face and know that you're mine and mine only."

Alexa wiped the rears that had fallen away from her eyes.

"Alexa Parker Harrington, will you marry me?"

"Yes."

He placed the ring on her finger and stood up to kiss her lips. 

"I love you."

"Not as much as I love you."

Alexa didn't know what the future held for her but she knew that as long as she had Peter, she'd be just fine.This is what love feels like, she thought to herself.
