"Oh my god, I'm so excited!" I yelled in mirth, bouncing on the balls of my feet. My boys all stared at me oddly, but I could definitely catch the fondness in their orbs. I grinned, looping my arms through Xiumin and Joonmyeon – ever since I bonded to him, there was like a silent agreement that we wouldn't call him Suho anymore – and they spared me a single glance, before eyeing their surroundings with awe."A lot has changed since I last showed up," Joonmyeon commented blankly, his eyes soaring up and down at the different skyscrapers and glass buildings that made him in awe. My smile shimmered into a small, gentle smile as I stared at him, and I leaned my head slightly on his shoulder, catching his attention.
"You were gone for a long time fellow, a lot of things had evolved."
"From your perspective, good or bad evolution?" he asked me with a small smirk, and I couldn't help but smack him gently, having to take my other arm out of Xiumin's arm to do so. "I wasn't even alive fifty years ago, this is what I grew up with, so I can't judge."
"I guess not a lot of things had changed, but still major changes," Xiumin commented from beside us, and I merely glanced at him before looking at Sehun and Baekhyun, checking to see if they were still following us and hadn't wandered off somewhere. Sehun sent me a thin smile when he noticed me staring, hands behind his back and spine straightened –like a real prince - and Baekhyun was walking with a hunched figure, his eyes cast down at his clad feet. Seeing them okay, I turned back to the front, paying more attention to where I was going.
We arrived at where the circus would be held according to the directions on the flyer, and I could feel myself shaking with excitement as we neared the huge, orange tent, glimmering with colorful lights that Baekhyun only spared a glance at. The tent was huge, and I was sure they could fit five elephants inside and more. I was in awe by the amount of people crowding the entrance, waiting for their tickets to be given to them so they could walk inside. I spotted a lot of kids, which Sehun only gave a single stare of annoyance at before looking away. I guess he wasn't a fan of children.
"Five tickets, please," I had asked my parents to come with us, but they didn't want to, saying that the circus wasn't for them oldies and that I should have fun. The lady with the weird drawings on her body, standing behind a wooden table spared me a single, bored glance, while she eyed my warriors with an agape mouth. I could practically see the stars and hearts in her eyes, and I found myself frowning.
"Here you go," she gave me the amount of tickets, and I payed her. She gave Sehun a sloppy wink, slipping a paper in his shirt pocket, that made me stare at them in horror. Even Sehun was horrified, and he shot me with a pleading stare that made me want to laugh. "Make sure to call me," she winked more, and Sehun opened and closed his mouth, his stare wandering everywhere but at the lady. Even though Sehun was old, he appeared like he was in his early twenties, while this woman was practically a hundred – okay, I'm exaggerating – but she clearly sought out for younger boys in the age of her sons.
"Lets go," I took Sehun's arm with my hand and stifled my laughter at his awestruck expression. When we were inside the tent, I let my laugh loose and smacked Sehun's arm.
"You're evil," Sehun pouted, rubbing his arm, and I seriously couldn't stop my laughter. Joonmyeon chuckled softly, ruffling my hair, and even Xiumin chuckled as well. "Lets go Sehun, make sure to call me when you're lost," I teased, and Sehun scowled at me before walking ahead of me.
I glanced around me for the first time, and my mouth gaped open in surprise and amazement. There was a big stadium with probably hundreds of chairs surrounding it filled with people of all ages. I dragged my warriors to empty chairs beside one another, and thankfully, they weren't too far off from the stage. I giddily squirmed in my place, my smile so giant that I felt ugly. The show didn't start yet, but there was already a lot of people as giddy as I was, waiting for whatever magic we would witness. I was scanning the stage around me with large eyes and an unfocused mind, until I felt someone drop their head on my shoulder messily with a groan. I looked down in alarm to find Sehun closing his eyes, his face pressed against my shoulders and he looked to be in pain.
