The next day.
Harriet's pov.
It's 5 AM and I've just woken up to the sound of sirens outside my window. I am, obviously, still at the hospital. alpha Carter had to go home considering that his mate was at home but I do get to meet him tomorrow once I get released. How do I know it's five, well my alarm clock just time chimed for five times. So I'm assuming that that means it's 5 o'clock.I hear the door open, and I sit up straight trying to sniff out who it is. But I can smell is chemicals and a little human. It must be either a nurse, or a doctor.
"hey sweetie, it's nurse Hennings, i'm just gonna check your reflexes."
"At five in the morning.?"
"See, Your reflexes are already amazing." I shift away from her, is she going to kidnap me.
"Who are you and what are you found in my hospital." A dark voice says from the door way. A strange smell comes in through the door, spicy, and oddly minty, a smell that you would think of at a homey bakery, and definitely Werewolf.
"She said she was a nurse Hennings." I reply.
"Well, Nurse Hennings is currently in the pregnancy ward, I would know considering I just handed her her new born child. And I know we don't have another nurse Hennings in our staff, and this is my patient, and I remember giving strict orders that no one is allowed to disturb this particular patient." I smirk as I hear more people enter the room, and drag the first person out. I laugh as she struggled and someone seemingly gets sick of her and hits her over the head.
"Where do you want her alpha." Someone says.
"Just leave her in a ditch somewhere." Says the doctor.... Person that walked in first. Feet shuffle out of the room an the door closes, but I know that he's still there, I can just feel it. "Are you alright, she didn't hurt you right?" He asks, concern lacing his voice. No not concern, worry, he actually cared about what she did or didn't do. I shake my head no. "Please talk to me, I already missed out on your beautiful eyes, I don't want to waist a second without your voice, or your smell." He pleaded softly, walking over to my bed, and sitting on the edge. I clear my throat.
"I'm fine." I whisper. He places a hand in my shoulder, pushing me back into a lying position lightly. I curl slightly into him. He runs a hand through my hair softly. Every time he touches me, little shots of electricity shoot through me. I scoot away from him, and I hear a small whine, I grab in his direction, and after a little bit a manage to grab his hand, I pull it towards me, forcing him to get onto the bed as well. Once he is in the center of the bed I slide my hand up his arm lightly until I'm met with a muscular shoulder. I push on it slightly and he lays down next to me, I lay my head on his chest, right above his heart, the calming beat mixed with his hand running lightly through my hair soothes me to sleep.
I can't believe I found him.
I can believe I found my mate.
