Chapter Eight
After everything that happened with Trent he drove me how, I haven't spoken to him since.
I don't have the right to be mad, I know that, but he's basically been a father to me and he's leaving now. Who dumps all this on a girl in one sitting. A girlfriend I didn't know about and the fact that he's moving.

Monday morning comes quicker than I expected and I'm dreading school. Not only will I have to see Kaine but Sebastian as well.
Nothing is turning out the way I planned.

Despite it being a Friday, I can already tell today is going to be an awful day. First my car stopped working so I had to take the bus, which I almost missed. Then, when I got to school I was immediately corner by Teagan and her dumb cheer crew. After I warded them off I was confronted by Kaine who I was eager to get away from, when Luke came to take me to class. My evil geography teacher assigned homework and gave me a detention because I didn't do it. Thankfully Sebastian had the right idea to stay the hell away from me today or I might have punched him in the throat. Finally half the day was gone and it was lunch time. I walked into the cafeteria alone but quickly recognized my friends sitting at our usual table.
I started walking over to our table, after purchasing my lunch, when I felt a foot stick out in front of me. I had no reaction time and fell flat on my face, taking my lunch with me. Looking up I stared into the panda eyes of my attacker.
"Teagan I don't know what your problem but I need you to leave me alone," I said gritting my teeth angrily.
"What did you just say to me? I don't give a fuck what you want!" she screeched.
"Really? Well, you've given it to half the guys at our school."
Her face turned a colour resembling a tomato as she angrily stomped her foot. "Did you just stomp your foot? Oh, I'm shaking now. Look, This lovely school isn't a garden, so stop being a hoe" My comment elicited chuckles from the onlookers surrounding us.
"God, I hate you!" she screamed as she turned to leave the cafeteria.
I could feel a singular pair of eyes on me, a very familiar set of eyes that use to entrance me completely.
He stared at me in a way I hadn't seen for a very long time. In awe? Adoration? Like he was proud of me.
I made my way over to my table and sat in between Luke and Jay.
"Hello," I said while chuckling slightly.
"Hey Fighter," Luke Laughed. "Hey why was Seb staring at you like that?"
Everyone at the table went silent at his innocent question.
"We have a," I paused to think of the proper word to express my feeling towards him. "History."
He tilted his head like a dog that's confused.
"How do you even know Sebastian?" I asked, my throat closing slightly when I reached his name.
"His dad's marrying my mom, didn't I tell you that?"
"Oh, uh, no I don't think you mentioned it."
"He moved in with us after he got back from camp," he said casually, as if this wasn't forcing my heart to beat out of my chest. "Why. Is that a problem?"
"No, just, don't talk to me when you're with him, I can't stand the sight of him."
"Huh, must have been some bad history."
