Chapter Six

“You think I’m beautiful?” he said smiling at me.

I just blushed while he laughed.

“It’s no secret; I know you know it too.”

“No one has ever said that to me before. Thank you,” he paused and took my hand. “I think you’re the most gorgeous person I’ve ever met.” He said smiling.

I just blushed and looked away.

What happened to that guy? What happened to the guy who used to tell me I was beautiful? Who used to remind me every day that no one could hurt me more than myself, or who used to tell me that no matter what people said I would always mean more to him then they did.

“Callie, we’re going to be ten this year,” he said glumly.

“What’s the matter Seb? You should be happy that we’re getting older.”

“I am, I am, it’s just that this year is going to be different. Somethings going to happen,” he said frowning.

“What do you mean?” I said turning to look at him.

“I can’t say, I just know this year is going to be a bad one.”

Hmm, vague.

That year really was a bad one. What I never understood was that it wasn’t like we were drifting apart or any of that crap; we were best friends up until the end.

“Callie, are you okay?”

“Why wouldn’t I be?” I said curiously. The little blue eyed boy started to giggle.

“Because you just got hit with the ugly stick!” he said making the rest of our class burst out laughing.

I stared up into those blue eyes through the tears and wondered what I did to deserve this.

“You’re so ugly that Hitler would cry,” he said laughing. (A/N No Offense to anyone)

“S-stop!” I said crying. I tried to cover my ears with my chubby little hands but I could still hear their laughter. “Stop! I didn’t do anything to you, why are you doing this?” I cried.

The little blue eyed boy just laughed, “Because, I don’t want to hang around you anymore Callie. You’re such a loser,” he yelled laughing.

Through teary eyes I saw Teagan- a girl in my class- walk up and swing her arm around his waist. He just laughed at my shocked expression and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

Since then they’ve started officially dating, all throughout the rest of elementary and high school until Sebastian left. That year was also the year my parents died, and when I needed him the most Sebastian wasn’t there for me. Instead of comforting me like the sweet blue eyed boy I knew he jumped at the chance to ruin my life.

“Callie, you should be glad your parents died, they would be disappointed to see their daughter is someone like you! I guess who ever killed them actually did them a favor!” he said laughing.

Three seconds flat and he was lying on the ground with a bloody nose. I guess one of my brothers heard him talking. Serves him right. Karma bitch.

I just fell to the ground sobbing, as I recalled everything that happened in that horrible year. Literally Two months after Sebastian started bullying me my parents died. Thinking about it kept the stream of my tears constant. After I stopped drying and dried up my tears I looked around the daunting forest.

Letting out a string of curse words I realized I was lost, in a huge forest.

As if my life couldn’t get anymore cliché I could hear the thunder in the distance.

“Why are you doing this to me god?” I said looking up at the sky. “I’m a good person; I never tried to get back at Teagan when she bullied me. I never got upset when my brothers bought me the wrong tampons. I never cried when Santa gave me crap for Christmas. So why am I stuck in the middle of a forest, while it’s raining, searching for Sebastian to help me?”

“Because you know deep down that he’s always going to help you,” I heard a voice say.

“God?” I questioned, standing up.

“Well you could call me that but most of my friends call me by my land walking name, its Sebastian,” he said smirking.

“Oh God, can’t you leave me alone?” I shouted in frustration.

“Do you really want that? Because you’re kinda stuck here until I lead you out. But if you really want me to leave...” he trailed off smirking.

“No, just take me home.”

He laughed. “No can do Callie-Bear,” he said laughing.

“Don’t mock me you idiot!” I shouted angrily.

“I still have things to say and you’re going to sit down and listen,” he said growing quite serious.

“I don’t need to listen to your crap.”

“I don’t care anymore!” he shouted angrily. “You’re going to sit down and shut up. I have a lot of things I need to explain and if I don’t get this off my chest now, I don’t know if I’ll be able too.”

He was breathing heavily now and I couldn’t help but think he looked kinda hot. I may hate him but even I have to admit he’s always been beautiful.

“Callie, I want to tell you a story…”
