Yiniri and I kept on walking for the past 10 minutes until we came across a cross on the grassy ground. It was obviously drawn and not a natural occurence... at least I think so.
"You see this cross..?" Yiniri pointed at the cross, "Do you know what is special about it..?"
I tried to act nonchalant and asked, "Hm..? What could possibly be to this cross..?"
Yiniri smirked, "This cross... can only be accessed by the 'Barrier Transcendor', an ancient myth says,
'Only thou art who is blessed
With thee power of barriers
Can thee be used
To thee white cross.'I started to feel guilty for some reason... why? The problem suddenly entered my mind. "What if I'm gone from my school for too long..?"
Yiniri turned around and kept walking, "What school? We don't have any schools here... only private teaching lessons by our teacher..."
My curiosity made me ask, "Teacher..?" I walked faster and waved my arms on my sides. "By the way... about the cross. What is it?"
Yiniri turned her head slightly and tied her hair into two ponytails. Since when did she have two bows..?
Yiniri continued to tie her hair, "Didn't I tell you..? The cross can only be accessed by the 'Barrier Transcendor', and unfortunately I am not she... which is why the only information I have is only the 'Barrier Transcendor' can access it." Yiniri looked to my eyes. "That perplexed look your giving me... don't tell me you are confused as to where I got these bows. Haven't I also told you that I summoned it?"
I was starting to get confused and decided to change the topic, "So... how far is your town..?" I plastered a knowing smile, "I guess we are far because I can see nothing but trees."
Yiniri sighed. "To be honest with you, it is pretty far from here. But we could get there fast in one way." She smirked, snapped her fingers, and something cool happened.
I opened my mouth in surprise at the sight, "A motorcycle!?" I looked around and looked back at Yiniri. "What in the world..?"
Yiniri crossed her arms and legs, "Naive as ever... I have obtained the power to summon things from our teacher."
"Sorry, it just hasn't settled in yet. My brain hurts from all these new stuff," I sighed. "but I can assure you that I am not the type of naive you think."
Yiniri turned around and boarded the motorcycle. "Come on..! If you don't get here I'll leave you in the dust!"
I decided to just follow her and as I was boarding the motorcycle, it disappeared. "Huh!?"
Yiniri laughed and smiled jokingly, "I haven't fully mastered the art of summoning yet. You see, it has 3 mastering factors." She raised her three fingers. "One. The art of summoning a simple and minute object, such as the bows that I used to tie my hair... Second. The art of summoning a simple but large object, such as the box from before. Those two factors I have completely mastered..."
I raised a brow in confusion... "Isn't the motorcycle a simple but large object... so why can't you-?"
Yiniri sighed, "A motorcycle is an object in the third factor. The third factor consists of all complex objects. A motorcycle is not a simple object. It is very complex... to classify simple and complex, simple means an object that holds no other feature but its main one. Complex means an object that could change its features, a motorcycle's engine will change feature when it is turned on. Sounds complicated..? Well it is. I had a hard time learning it."
I sat down and sighed, "How in the world did you make the motorcycle an... illusion?"
She sat down and took a breather, "A failed summon results in a mirage or an illusion. I just pretended to sit even though it wasn't there."
I frowned and looked to the ground, "So you did that on purpose..!?" I clenched my fists.
"Look, I did that so I can explain how summoning works."
"You did that on purpose."
Yiniri laughed and stood up, "Let's get going then, it's getting dark and we are far from our destination..."
I hesitated to stand but figured it was the right decision to do so, so I stood up and we continued walking.
It seems so peculiar today, R-ritona? Was it..? Where even am I?
