Myra
This is so nerve-racking! I feel like a nervous wreck! I nervously walked closer to the majestic entrance. Seriously, how can an entrance be so grand, pristine, and so... amazing at the same time!?
There are mermaid statues atop marble pillars on either side of the entrance. The entrance has ribbons embroidered with gold that are dangling from the top; scalelike mosaic patterns fill up the entirety of the entrance. If even the entrance can be this flawless then the inside must be...
As we shoved away the ribbons my jaw dropped at the beauty that graced my eyes.
It was an underwater haven! There were plenty of mermaids with gradient hair swimming graciously about, there were amazing underwater structures such as a huge bubble sphere.
As I entered the "water globe" I quickly realized that although this may be an uncharted world for me, physics still exist which means that I CANNOT BREATHE UNDERWATER!
All suddenly went well when Yiniri smirked, snapped her hands and waved them about. I was surprised when a bubble formed on the entirety of my head, giving me the oxygen I needed to breathe, haah, I almost panicked there...
Anyway, as we were swimming towards the astonishing water palace in the middle, someone with pink hair and purple gradients much like Yiniri approached us.
"So, Yiniri... you came back!" The girl began.
"What did you expect, Tenorrha? Do you seriously doubt me that much..?" Yiniri pouted,
"Hmph, then where is the item I asked you for?" Her hair waved about with fluency as she speaked.
"...Oh, yes... the item. Here ya' go!" Yiniri opened the box she held a while ago and handed a weird orb to Tenorrha.
"Good good, and... who might this precious girl at your back be?" She looked at me with a reassuring smile.
"Oh, this is Myra," she turns towards me, "Myra this is Tenorrha Forte, the teacher of SUMMONING."
I kinda already picked that up from your conversation...
"Teacher of sum-" I got cut off,
"Anyway, enough formal introductions... follow me you two." Tenorrha signalled us with her hands as she slowly drifted away.
Me and Yiniri followed her into the humongous castle. There she led us into a large room with shell decorations on the lovely wall. There she flicked her fingers sidewards and, much to my unprecedented surprise, 3 chairs suddenly appeared.
Tenorrha cleared her throat, "Ehem, so... I'm here to discuss to you about the very sinister power I feel emerging at the Barrier Core," she looked concerned, "and its eerie power growing larger by the minute is not a very good sign."
Yiniri's eyes widened like potatoes, "What!? The Barrier Core..? Isn't that the middle of the barrier separating Ritona into 4 sections..? It is also where the barrier's power is best concentrated and is much more harder to penetrate even for the Barrier Transcendor..!"
Tenorrha sighed, "Yes, it is a place of incredible concentration of magical power. However it is very unstable, even just touching it can rip you to shreds..!"
I took a breather, "Guys, sorry to interrupt your conversation but... why exactly am I here amid this dialogue? I mean, I don't necessarily need to hear all this info..."
Yiniri looked at me and said, "Myra, the only reason why you are here is for us to inform you of what is currently happening. Y'see, we, the Zarne, know everyone in our portion of land in the tips of our fingers, even those who are just born are known to us... but you are completely unbeknownst even to us... we would accept it that we do not know you if you were just a baby... but you are grown-up and it would be impassive for us not to inform you about everything that is currently going on."
Tenorrha smiled, "Spot on, Yiniri! I am so lucky to have you as my sister..!"
Yiniri blushed lightly and looked away, "Ugh, I was just informing Myra here... I have no need for your compliments sis," Yiniri focused her eyes on me, "but... it is nice to have a sister, don't you think, Myra?"
I looked at the ground, "Well, I don't know how it feels, considering the fact that I don't have a sister..."
"What!?" Tenorrha gasped.
"NO WAY..! It must be so boring for you!" Yiniri suddenly said.
"In that case... then we'll be friends! That should be enough to make you our sister, right?" Yiniri and Tenorrha said in synchronization.
Wow, I never thought I'd hear those words from anyone I just met. Maybe me suddenly "poofing" here in this new world is fate!
