The cruiser plowed through each rising ocean swell; sea sprays dousing everyone on board. The sun was blinding and the water blue as the sky. It looked as though there was no horizon just an endless watery deep. Bo stood against the railing hanging over the side dry heaving. The massive navy seal had a "tummy ache."
Jin stood in the command center on the ship. Panels covered in buttons were manned by South Korean soldiers. She wore a pair of Jeans and a T-shirt; flowers woven into her braided hair. There she spoke to the young attractive Captain.
"Thankyou Iissaki." She bowed deeply in respect. "You have saved our lives."
"The honor is mine." They spoke in Korean. "After all I am simply returning the favor for what you did for me."
"It was sheer luck we ran into you. Hopefully we won't be 'annoying' fugitives." She crossed her arms.
"We appreciate the company, It's been a while since my men have had such beautiful women aboard." His deep brown eyes sparkled.
Jin smiled. "I'll try not to distract them too much." She winked at one of the soldiers who was staring at her sending him into a red frenzy.
"They're not the ones I am worried about." He clasped his hands behind his back and turned around. "Feel free to explore the entire rig." She bit her lip and smiled.
"Believe me I will." She spoke quietly in English.
She joined Bo on the open deck and rubbed his back as began to vomit again. "Poor baby." He put his head on the railing and coughed.
"I. Hate. The. Water." He gasped.
"I love it." Jin sighed deeply leaning on her cheek, spinning a flower between her fingers. She saw the captain on the second deck and waved to him. "I really love it." She raised an eyebrow.
"How- long- are we going to be on this hell hole?" He groaned.
"Get comfy."
. . .
James and Mason stood together on the open deck as the dark water rolled around them. The moon was bright showing its strange face rippling through the water. They wove their fingers together like it was their life support. Wind swept through her clean hair. Clean hair. A feeling she greatly appreciated. He wrapped an arm around her bare shoulders and leaned the side of his head against her. He smelled like aftershave and sea salt.
"Where do you think we're headed?"
"I don't know love."
"Hopefully somewhere far far away from here." She took a deep breath.
"Well you're in good luck." A voice shattered their moment. It was the captain. They turned to face him.
"You speak English?" Conrad asked. "Why hide it?"
"I like it when your friend speaks Korean." He smiled. "It's amusing." Mason rolled her eyes. He coughed. "That's beside the point."
"Where are we going?" Mason folded her arms.
A mischievous smile crossed his face.
"How does Brazil sound?"
