Quick authors note;
This is gonna be a story about my all time character lunarwolf who has evolved a lot when I started. Hope you love lunarwolf as much as I do.
This is in a world where the magical world and the world we call home live separately. At least for a while. No one even notices the magical world oddly even though it's practically on the atmosphere of ours. Who would when your just glad nothing has come down from it? Some of us are worried about how it could bring darkness to the world but others are curious and want to just go look. Little did they know that like it or not it was coming. It all happened on that one day; The day the worlds collided. The day when the magic came into everyone's lives. Like any other disaster, you wouldn't have ever thought of it happening. Especially on a peaceful, sunny spring day. My sister and I worked at the police station, it was gonna be my first day on the force. My big sister made me wear that dumb police hat that dad used to wear. Him and mom passed when I was little. We lived with my aunt Myra. Aunt Myra had long with hair usually held in a tight bun, her pale skin and blue eyes piercing through you if you did anything wrong. Man had I hate that stare growing up. Then theirs my sister. She had my dads red hair though it was pretty and long,she also had brown eyes like me. She was nimble and quick, she was practically my role model growing up. I always loved hearing her stories when she came home. Now I was gonna live the adventures with her. Unlike my aunt and sister, I had brown hair put in two pigtails held by my favorite red berets. I placed the hat on top of my head, the two pigtail berets just noticeable. My older sister, Audrey was already downstairs ready to go.
"Come on rookie! We need to go!" She yelled up teasingly. I smiled at her voice.
"Coming!" I yelled back down, walking down the stairs in my police officer outfit. She smiled and she turned us to the mirror on the wall.
"Would you look at that. We're all grown up." She says smiling at the both of us, her hands still on my shoulders. I could barely recognize myself with the police hat and way I looked now to when I was little. I heave a sigh.
"Do you think dad would be proud of us?" Audrey ask. I was shocked by the question but didn't have time to answer when we hear a loud bang. I blink my eyes a few times startled but also thinking. What the? I look over to Audrey and she looked confused too. Our aunt just kept moving along and didn't acknowledge it. My sister and I looked at each other and then we just shrugged it off. Maybe it was something not that big of a deal like a small earth tremor or a sonic boom from the planes. We nodded to each other and started heading to the car. Little did I know that would be the last time I saw our aunts house standing, or hear my aunt humming while making breakfast. We should have paid more attention to that bang but we didn't. We just kept on driving to the station not a bad thought in our heads. I even looked at the magical world, it was just glance though. I closed my eyes and felt the warm breeze all the way to the station. When we made it everyone was rushing around trying to figure out what that bang was. 'Wasn't it something not to look at?' I thought then. The chief then saw me, noticing I was out of place of all the ruckus. He was a tall man, with short black hair, a bit chubby and a grey mustache that looked like it had doughnut bits in it.
"Yes sir." I said standing up nice and tall.
"Welcome to the squad rookie, there's your desk start filing reports." He says pointing his finger towards a desk by a window, with a phone and I think a broken swerving chair. I try and not give a look. I was taught in an academy to work hard and to have really good reflexes for THIS? I sigh and walk over towards the desk. Someone had to do it I guess. I sit down in the swerving chair having it squeak just a bit. Then another bang happened this one more powerful then the last that it shook the world. We where up in the air for a second when it started crashing down. I avoided getting crushed by my desk and chair. The phone however hit me on the head. It had been an hour since the last bang. The magical world was just getting closer to colliding with our world, and no one knew about it. That is until the next half hour was up. I was still at the office taking calls. My sister had just paid a visit at my desk and gave me a reassuring smile that everything was gonna be ok. Except it didn't. It wasn't gonna be ok. On the third and final bang the magical world came crashing through ours. I don't know how but it was as if they merged together leaving this mess of a planet. It happened so fast, so much was moving around that I hit my head. When I woke up I noticed that the police station was practically destroyed and I was the only one there. There was fire in some places of it. I looked frantically for my sister but i couldn't find her. No one could find anyone. That's when it hit me of Aunt Myra. I quickly ran to the car that some how managed the merge. It was a bit beaten up but it could still run. I drove at full speed towards my Aunt hoping nothing happened. That my Aunt was still there humming and making food for herself. I finally made it the house and it was practically turned to rubble. I looked for my Aunt. I called her name several times.
"Aunt Myra! Aunt Myra!" I cried tears streaming down my face. I then heard a groan. I saw an arm fighting to get out of the rubble. I gasped. Aunt Myra. I ran towards the arm and pulled as hard as I could to get the rubble off. I got most of it just to see the upper half of my Aunt Myra scratched up. My hands where now bleeding but I didn't care. I held onto Aunt Myra's hand.
"It's so good to see you before I might pass." She says her voice scratchy. I shook my head tears still streaming down my face.
"No this isn't the end for you." I cried holding her hand tightly. She gave me a warm smile and kind eyes.
"I'm sorry child but I'm afraid it is." She says starting to stroke my hair with her other hand. I could feel each stroke getting weaker.
"I love you and your sister so much. Try and take care of each other, ok?" She ask her eyes starting to fill with tears. I nod sniffling, I held her hand more and more tightly.
"Good bye Lunar." She says with her last breath, leaving me there sobbing next to her body in a new world.
