"Whoa!" Hashi says looking over the food I made.
"Everything smells so delicious! I don't know what to eat first!" He says making googling eyes and sniffing each plate. I almost saw him drool before he licked it back up.
"You can have a piece of everything. Kathryn can you fix Hashi a plate before he stuffs his face in one?" I say smirking. Hashi gives me a love dovey look.
"THANK YOU GODDESS LUNAR!!!" He cries ramming into me and hugging me.
"Get off me fuzzball." I say finding it hard to breathe. Kathryn sets down the plate and gives it a longing glance. That is before Hashi started stuffing his face.
"You want some? I made plenty." I say about to make a plate myself.
"I would but I wouldn't be able to taste it and it doesn't give me energy at all anymore. Only blood does that." She says looking down at her feet. We soon hear footsteps down to the kitchen. Max comes rushing down when he smelled some of the food.
"Mmmmm. Smells so good." He says drooling like Hashi. I quickly make myself a plate before the guys and Hashi for the second time go for the food like it's going to run away. I feel the sweat drop again while Kathryn laughs a bit. I look over to her and smile.
"Do you miss being a human?" I ask her. She freezes in her tracks and her eyes widen. She looks over to me. She relaxes a bit after seeing my face and nods.
"More then anything in the world." She whispers barely audible.
"Well there might be a way." Kenta says chewing on a chicken leg.
"Really?" Kathryn says shooting her head up,looking to Kenta for answers.
"Well yea.. but it's gonna be a hard find and you might have to do some research on it." He says dodging Max and Hashi, who where fighting over the other chicken.
"It's not fair! This is your second plate!" Max fires.
"Yea but I'm younger and smaller therefore I need the most food to help grow." Hashi growls holding on tight to the bone with his teeth. We all sweat drop at them. I sigh.
"Hashi give it to the nice wolf. He's letting us ride the ship for free." I tell Hashi trying to settle the fight. He rolls his eyes and starts to fly a bit up.
"Your just saying that because you have a crush on him." Hashi says looking at me slyly.
"WHAT?!?" Max and I say, Max letting go and falls down.
"Success! I knew that trick would work!" Hashi says settling down to eat. I felt the vain pop out of my head. I grab a frying pan.
"Oh Haaashi." I sing softly. His eyes widen when he's sees the frying pan in hand.
"I'll give you five seconds to run." I growl. He whimpers and starts to fly a way screaming.
"Come back here you flying rat!" I yell running after him.
"Lunar!" Max calls getting my attention. I lower the frying pan and look over.
"Yes?" I ask nervous a bit.
"I didn't just come down here for the food. It's time we interrogate Jason." He reminds me. Jason? I thought. I must of gave a confused look cause then Max stated.
"He's the former captain."
I nod and walk over to the cells below deck. There in his rotten cell, was Jason. He was a bit more scratched up from the fighting but besides that he looked fine. I take a deep breath. They taught us to interrogate criminals at the academy but  I haven't really used that part of training. I take the keys from Max and open the cell. At first instance Jason tried to attack me but was stopped when he realized he was restrained from the hands and ankles. I showed no emotion what so ever. I had to stay calm.
"Hello Jason. I came to talk." I say coolly. He growls.
"Not happening." He growls bearing his teeth.
"Already started talking a bit, might as well keep on talking." I say giving him a look. He sighs.
"What do you want?" He ask still angry.
"The person you where looking for, what do you know of her?" I ask getting down to the first question. He laughs an evil laugh.
"Trust me, you don't want to get involved with her." He says oddly calmly.
"To late. I've been involved, what do you know?" I say leaning over him looking directly into his eyes. I apparently had a stare that could make people talk easily. Many people have told me this, but I never believed it. My aunt even called it the 'Devils eye.' His eyes widen. His wolf ears go down and he whimpers.
"You... you're one to." He says in a shaky tone. I back away from him curious.
"What?" I ask.
"You're a demon. Why didn't I see it before. Y-your sister she's the queen of demons." He says scooting far more in his chair. If his tail wasn't in a chair it be in between his legs.
"What are you talking about? I'm not part demon." I say starting to get defensive. He still looked scared, he was even trembling.
"If you don't believe me,ask her. Ask your sister what you are. She lives in the demons nest, but please let me leave this ship." He begs. I tense up. I didn't know where the demon nest was nor did I know if Max or Kenta knew.
"Look, first you take me to the demons nest then you will get to leave the ship." I say. His eyes widen and he starts to beg yelling "No! Please! Please!" , but I didn't hear anymore. I walked out of the room hoping he was wrong.
I can't be a demon. Audrey can't be a demon, more the less the queen. I didn't know my parents that well, but one of them couldn't have been a demon, the barrier was still up. I went up to the captains deck to see Max steering the ship. He smiles when he sees me.
"So where to?" He ask. I took a deep breath, my lip quivered as I said the words.
"We're going to the demons nest. We're letting the former captain lead us." I say my voice trembling. He looks at me concerned but nods.
"I'm gonna go in my cabin and lay down for a bit. Do you know where Kathryn and Kenta are? I haven't seen them." I ask looking down.
"They went off the ship for a bit. Something important came up. Go ahead and get some rest. We'll arrive at the demons nest shortly." Max says patting me on the shoulder. I sigh and nod as I walk to my room. I run into Hashi when I open the door. He looks at me ears down like about to yell at him.
"Please don't tell me where going to the demons nest?" Hashi says whimpering. I felt a bit of curiosity.
"Why? What's wrong Hashi?" I ask him petting his head and scratching behind his ear.
"It's that, there more Dragonpups are breaded. I was the runt of my litter. I don't want to see how they become and me still a runt." He says hit head down tears in his eyes. I pick up Hashi and cradle him in my arms.
"Hashi if it's to much for you, I have another suitable job for you. The old captain doesn't want to be near the nest when we get there, so why don't you take him away while we dock the ship, ok?" I say giving him another proposition. He smiles and nods.
"After you drop the captain off though, come back we may need you to drive the ship if anything happens. Can you do that?" I ask him.  He nods and his ears go up again.
"I can fly better then anybody here. No offense Captain Max." Hashi says spreading his wings starting to fly a bit.
"None taken, shorty." Max says smiling. I leave them to argue and laugh on my way to my room.
~one hour later~
I couldn't sleep the whole hour on the ship it took to come here. To many ideas and worries where in my head. When we arrived Hashi quickly took the old captain away. It was just Max and I. The demons nest basically looked like a black hornets nest only you defiantly sense the dark aura. It was smoking in some spots where I guess were the Dragonpups breeding. It felt so hot that heat lightning kept on striking around the nest. I put on my summer uniform which was just my normal uniform minus the sleeves and no leggings. I had my sword on my side being able to find it as well as my shield.
"Ready to go?" Max ask. He had taken his shirt off, his dark sword on his side wearing shorts. I nod.
"Lets have a talk with my sister." I say my voice small and quite. Please don't actually be what he told me. Please just let this be a mistake. But it wasn't a mistake. We found the queen's door pretty quickly. It wasn't hard to miss with it being a huge decorative dark and red door. You'd think it be more subtle. We opened the door and what I saw was defiantly something I wasn't expected to see. My sister. In black clothing with red and golden tips making out with a guy with black hair pale skin in a suit.
"Eh hem." Max says faking a cough. My sister opens her eyes and pulls away. She looks over to Max and purrs.
"Hmmm I could go for a three way." She says smirking. I can practically feel Max about to barf and he wasn't the only one.
"So it is true? Your the queen of demons, Audrey?" I ask dragging the sentence out. Audrey tenses up a bit but then turns finally seeing me after the year.
"Lunar?" She ask looking me up and down. I nod. Her eyes widen and for a few minutes it was silent. It felt like hours. All this time I wanted to see my sister to see if she was ok to know if she lived through the collision. My sweet older sister, who I looked up to as a child now turned to the queen of demons? Audrey was the first to break the silence. She walked over to her demon and whispered something in his ear. Right after he left, sprouting black wings and flying off. My sister then turned to me.
"My how have you grown. I've see you've run into our pirate friends. How is there dear old captain?" She ask sitting on her desk her legs crossed.
"Max is the new captain. He's come with me today to help see what has happened to you. What have you become? How have you become the demon queen?" I ask curious and rage filling my voice.
"Well first off I'd have to bring the demon part to our dear father. He was lord of the demons and he not only wanted to take over this world but the world our mother lived on, earth. He knew ever trick in the book he could travel to earth in one simple way. He changed to his human form and was about to take over when who should he run into but our weak little mother. She of course didn't know he was a demon at first, then our two parents fell in love. Some of the demons wouldn't have it as well as other creatures and they where right to be mad. Soon after you born, they started planning attacks our father however was a very powerful demon, I must say for six years of holding them off was impressive. Then of course it broke and that fire killed both our parents. Our aunt on our mothers side took us in but she knew of our father. He even gave her a scroll to one day give to us. Well I found it and it spoke of a gift that we could get that would grant any wish. I instantly started planning on ways bring the two worlds together to find a way to get that wish. With that wish I could have the ultimate power. I figured it all out and now all I have to do is go through all of daddy's little quest. That is how I became how I am today." Audrey says finishing the story. I could honestly say I was terrified and upset. Our father... he gave us a gift... and all she wants to do with it is get power? Not only that but she brought the worlds together?!? That killed our aunt! We'd still be happy in that shop, her and I being cops, getting better at solving crime. She ruined thousands of lives, FOR POWER!?!?!
"How could you do such a thing?! Our father may have given us a gift but that doesn't mean you should abuse it! Or try anything to get from it! He gave his life to protect us! to protect our Mom! And you became a demon to repay and killed our Aunt for that!" I yell rage and upset spilling out. I was wrong about her in so many ways! How could she of done this?!?
"Well I'm afraid you don't see it the same way sister. Guards." She called but I knew what was gonna happen next and I wouldn't allow it. I unsheathed my sword as Max did as well and we fought off the guards. We start running back to the ship, taking any short cut we could find. I was hoping Hashi would figure out we needed to get out of here and be on the ship ready to steer it in the demons nest. We just about made it when there where a few hundred demons behind us. They where like large black bats with human pale faces, they're eyes completely black. I fought off as many as I could as well as Max as we got on the ship. Hashi then did something I never thought he could do. He somehow figured out the ship's defense system and our came twenty magic cannons all easily set to anything that moved around the ship. They started firing instantly as if set by command Hashi started backing out of the demons nest and I caught one last glimpse of my sister in her window. I scowled at her and was glad that Hashi had finally gotten us to the sunlight. Most demons who had small amounts of energy can't handle sunlight, about twenty five percent of the demons died from exposure of the sun. Then fifty percent where killed by the cannons, and that left twenty five percent for Max and I. We gladly took care of the rest and were already heading to another place. We didn't know where but anywhere was better then the demons nest. After all the demons evaporated to dust or were thrown over board I collapsed on my knees. Max came up to me knelt to me.
"I'm sorry about your sister. At least you learned your history and that your part demon." He says trying to look a bit on the bright side. I sighed.
"Can we not tell anyone about me being part demon? I don't want anyone to get scared like Jason, the old captain." I say my voice full of dread and sore. We may have won the battle for now but it felt like a really bad loss. I'm a demon and the person I wanted to reunite with is evil. He nods.
"What are we gonna do about your sister?" He ask curious. I shrugged.
"I don't know but I do know we can't let her have that gift. Which means we need to go on my father's quest so I can get the gift before her." I say trying to think of everything we could do.
"This ship is at your command. I'll help you plus if your sister takes over the worlds it's gonna be hard to pirate with her gonna snap my neck if I don't do what she says." He says smiling. I smile back and nod. I really felt like I was hit by a cannon today instead of those demons though. I kept on thinking on what to do with my father's quest until my thoughts where broken when I heard;
"Hey can you guys pass down the rope ladder? We'd like to go back up now!" We heard Kenta yell up. We must of reached the meeting point. I go to fetch the rope. We both had a share of a story to tell.
