Chapter 7

Authors note~
Hey guys real quick if you look at the picture and video you'll see the video of the song that was supposed to be in frozen but was cut from it. It's really good and in a way I kind of see it as how Audrey and Lunar are cause at first they trusted each other and Lunar didn't want to believe that Audrey was the queen of demons. Then it just led to them fighting like the clip. You gotta love that sisterly love :p anyway hope you guys enjoy the chapter! ~ lunar
Lunar POV
I was in my room of the ship, looking into the mirror I had above my dresser. I look at the reflections eyes, fearful they turn red like my sisters. I then look down at my hands, sitting on my bed with a thump.
Am I monster? Am I gonna become evil like her?
I sigh and clench my fist.
No I can't become evil. No, I won't be evil. I gotta find my fathers legacy adventure and keep my demon side under control.
I sigh and nod and look into the mirror one last time to check my eye. Still dark brown. I take a deep breath and head out side. It was night time and the fresh cold air felt more relaxing then ever. I wasn't in my outfit anymore but in a dark blue robe with my hair down. I look up to the sky with all the stars. Another memory I shared with my sister came up. I was thirteen, in my bedroom, crying in my pjs. I was eating ice cream and watching romcoms. The classic break up package. It was then that Audrey came in and gave me a sad smile.
"Hey luny moony." She said calling me my old nickname. I roll my eyes and groan while placing covers over my head.
"Go away. I want to die alone." I cry taking a spoonful of ice cream. I can feel Audrey roll her eyes.
"Come on." She says pulling off the covers and dragging me off the bed. I sigh and get on to my feet. She nods and motions for me to follow her. I nod and we both head out onto the roof of the house from my bedroom window. I start to get cold almost instantly.
"Why are we put here?!" I cry missing the warm and comfort of my bed. She shakes her head.
"Sit down." She commands sitting down herself. I sigh and sit beside her.
"Good. Now tell me, what do you see?" Audrey ask in a husky voice. I look up towards the night sky.
"The moon. The unknown world. Stars." I say boredom settling in. She smiles and nods though, taking in a deep breath.
"How much do we know about that other world?" She ask me as if not hearing the name right.
"We don't know anything about it. Every time something comes close to it we loose contact with the pilots and never hear from them again." I said speaking the truth. It was as if the world itself didn't want to share its secrets with its neighboring world. I can see now why.
"What about the moon? What do we know about it?" She ask laying down as if this was too easy. I give her a menacing look but still say the answer.
"We know a whole lot about the moon. We've traveled there, explored it, and experimented on its land. It orbits us and changes monthly. We know it almost as well as our own planet." I say looking up and observing the crystal moon.  Audrey smiles and nods.
"Yes you are right. That's how most people work the unknown planet are just people that are there that we notice, nothing really important, but the moon are people we keep near us like family,friends, and most importantly lovers." She says finishing. I sigh seeing her point.
"I thought he was one of my moons though." I say to her looking more at the stars.
"But he wasn't and just a unknown planet. I'll always be one of your moons though, Lunar. You can count on it." Audrey says hugging me and I'd place my head on her shoulder. Little did I know was she lied. She wasn't one of my moons. Instead she was just another unknown planet that. I sigh and come back to the present and look up at the moon. It still orbited the earth but also orbiting the unknown planet as well since the collision. I feel the cold breeze on my face and for a moment, just a small moment, I was back on that roof top. I hear steps coming toward me. I look over to see nothing then remember to look down. Hashi was there rubbing his eyes with one of her paws. Must be too tired to fly.
"Lunar, what are you doing up?" He ask drowsily. I smile down at Hashi. I had to admit, Hashi looked very adorable.
"Just thinking Hashi, Come on. Let's get you back to bed." I coo and pick Hashi in my arms to cradle him. He yawns and snuggles into my chest. I walk back down to the quarters and find Hashi's bed. I look to see Kathryn still up.
"Couldn't sleep either?" I ask placing Hashi softly down on the cot.
"No. I was so close to getting this cure of not being a vampire anymore but we ruined our chances." She said sadly. I nod.
"Sorry to hear." I whisper. She nods.
"What about you and your sister?" She ask moving aside on her cot so I could sit down.
"Let's just say it wasn't the family reunion I wanted and waited for." I say sitting down. She gives me a look.
"Explain please." Kathryn ask.
"Well my sister turned out she and I are half demon and she is now queen of demons." I tell her.
"Who's the demon in the family? Your mom or dad?" She ask.
"Dad apparently. He was the lord of demons. I don't even know what that means for me." I say my voice rising till I remember I'm in a room full of cots with a werewolf, an elf and wolf-dragon pup where sleeping.
"It means you're still the same Lunar, just now you may have some badass demon abilities." Kathryn said smiling. I give a small smile and nod.
"She was also talking about my fathers gift to us of a wish to grant anything and she has to go through our fathers quest to get it." I say explaining more about it.
"We can't let her get that gift. If she gets that gift then she'll become the ultimate demon and shatter the realms." Kathryn says urgently.
"Yea. That's why I'm crazily thinking I go after it just to stop her."I tell her.
"It's not a crazy idea! You have his blood! You could get the scroll and find out the clues and quest!" She says excitedly.
"Shhhhh. You'll wake the guys up."I whisper.
"To late." Max says groggily turning around to face us.
"We're both up, thanks to your gossiping ladies." Kenta says rubbing his head.
"Sorry." Kathryn says looking down at her hands.
"It's fine, I'm glad you did. Lunar, I think Kathryn is right." Max says sitting up.
"I second that." Kenta says still stretching. I sigh. I was out numbered.
"Alright, lets do it. We first need the scroll that Audrey was talking about though to get the first clue/quest. It should be in the ruins of our old house." I say thinking about it.
"Alright, we'll start heading there in the morning but for now sleep." Kenta says readjusting his pillow. I can't help but laugh a little and nod as Kathryn rolls her and Max laughs with me. We all agree to go to bed though. Soon we're each in our own cots and my head drifts off into the dream world. Another world that has yet to be discovered.
